Natural and nice ”tan”
I am a total rookie when it comes to self-tanner, and I mean that I have never tried it (as far as I can remember), in any form. And here came 3 variants in the same batch 😅 Very exciting, but I was also very worried and anxious that it would be patchy 🙈 I tested this mousse on my legs. I scrubbed my legs in the shower in the evening and then moisturized them with lotion afterward. Then I applied the mousse with my hands. I find that it was very easy to apply, and it absorbed into the skin incredibly quickly. It also smells really good! 😍 I then washed my legs with water and shower gel in the morning, and then it was done. It didn’t transfer onto either sheets or towels 🙏🏻 The color turned out even and nice, except on my feet where I need to practice a bit more 😂 I think the color turned out very natural. I am very confused right now, I have used the old formula since forever with fantastic results every time, I probably did something completely wrong here. I treated the skin the same way as with other self-tanners I have used and applied it as always. I got a disastrous result from this 😅 Very patchy over the body (not large areas like I missed spots, but a 5-cent coin here and there, and the hands are a disaster.. So those of you who got great results from the old one, be a bit cautious as it’s not the same. There are more differences than just one being clear and the other tinted. Incredibly good self-tanner!
So this self-tanner really exceeded my expectations! I have previously used Ida Warg’s self-tanner and wasn’t completely satisfied… Then I tried this one and I was so happy! You get a really nice, natural brown color, the color doesn’t wash off in the shower (which I think Ida Warg’s does), and the color was even even though the mousse is transparent. Nice color!
Loved the redder tone in Ida Warg's instant tan before it was changed, and this one reminded me of it. On one leg I used Cocoa Brown Express and on the other Lykos. Let it sit for 12 hours. The one from Cocoa Brown was COMPLETELY gone after two days while Lykos is still going strong 5 days later! However, I have noticed it comes off in patches on the décolletage, which looks really bad (even though I moisturized after every shower plus morning and night).. Above Expectations
I have tested many self-tanners in all price ranges and usually buy St. Tropez, but was looking for a budget alternative. I have previously used Ida Warg as a budget option. I tried this one since it received good reviews, and I was not disappointed! I love that it gives so much color with just the first application. This is definitely not a self-tanner that you need to build up. The color turns out super nice and lasts a long time. I also think it dries quite quickly and gives a nice glow in the meantime. Above Expectations!
I have been searching for a self-tanner that doesn't turn orange, or too dark on my light skin - I just can't do the whole body haha! This one exceeded all expectations, and I got a pair of brown legs that are nothing but just brown. A little scary when the mousse is white, but you can still see where you've applied it if you look closely! :) Doesn't smell as much as some do! It applies nicely and gives a perfect sun-kissed result. For me, the color stayed nice for over a week and didn’t get patchy at the end like other products tend to do. This can result in an orange look, especially on light skin. Maybe you need a different BUS that suits your skin a bit better, and there are a few other options to choose from. New favorite!

Better than St Tropez!
I am a picky tanner, and I am so happy to have finally found a product with an incredibly friendly price tag that delivers at the same level as St Tropez, Vita Liberata, and Bondi Sands. Such a nice and deep tan, and it went on evenly and beautifully. I also think the longevity is top-notch! Good scent, and my sheets were fresh. A must-have for all tanners out there! How to use:
Exfoliate your skin no later than 24 hours before applying to get rid of dead skin cells and help the tan go on nice and even. Apply a bit of moisturizer to dry spots like hands, elbows, knees, and feet to avoid patchiness. Use a tanning mitt or pump the mousse straight into your hand and smooth on a thin, even layer. Be sure to wash your hands well right after! The color will gradually develop over the next 12 hours. Try to avoid water for at least 3 hours after applying.
