Affordable!!
Honestly, for such a cheap eyeshadow, I didnโt have very high expectations, but I really think itโs a great choice if youโre on a budget! It applies beautifully on the lid, and I love how it goes from creamy to a more powdery finish โ it makes it feel luxurious and easy to work with. You can really build it up depending on whether you want a soft everyday look or something more glowing for the evening, which is a big plus. Unfortunately, I found it a bit tricky to blend sometimes. It sets quite quickly, so you need to work a bit fast, otherwise it can get a little uneven. And regarding the glitter, I wish it was a bit creamier in texture โ right now it feels a bit drier than I like, even though it still gives a nice shimmer. Completely okay but not wow
This eyeshadow palette from Lyko is practical for traveling and it works completely okay. As you can see, the pigments are quite good, especially the matte eyeshadow. ๐ค But from the shimmery eyeshadows, I expected more pigment, especially from the last one. They give okay pigment and can be used as eyeshadows, but there are much better ones on the market, e.g. essence, nyx, morphe or anastasia beverly hills. Easy-to-work-with shadows
These palettes are incredibly easy to work with, not at all difficult to get a smooth transition to the next shadow. Whatโs good to know is that the matte shadows have a cream-to-powder formula and are therefore very soft, so be careful with the brush/finger! ๐ What keeps it from being a perfect score is that the dark shadows arenโt pigmented enough to be used to give the makeup a proper depth. They also donโt really build up. Doesn't hold up
Sooo pretty colors! But unfortunately, they don't hold up at all. A bit hard eyeshadow
Iโve been lucky enough to test 3 makeup products from #bylyko and this time it was the Eye-con Eyeshadow palette Honey drizzle โญ๏ธ The colors suit me perfectly and I love the shimmer they give off, BUT I have to use the brush to pick up more product than I would like! Not the best pigment but a totally okay budget option
I really love eyeshadows. I can't say it's the best palette I've ever tried in my life, but for the price, it's relatively good! Nice colors and you can definitely create a look. I really like the burgundy shade as it reminds me of the burgundy shade in the ABH Soft Glam Palette. And it is a budget option. The glitter shadows are okay but not the best. Works
To be honest, I wasnโt that positive about this product because none of the colors really appealed to me, and Iโm not a big fan of glittery shadowsโฆ Still, I tested all the colors in the palette and I think they hold well on the lid โ donโt smudge, but arenโt very pigmented and need to be built up if you want intensity. If youโre not good at applying eyeshadow, this is a positive, in my opinion. The lightest color is creamy and surprisingly pigmented, so you donโt need to use much of it. For the price, Iโd say itโs a pretty good palette in terms of staying power on the lid. I just personally wish it came in other colors. Wohiooo, got the package as #lykoinflutester, which got a bit stuck on the way ๐ This is the most natural palette in the world, so perfect for you who like the made-up/natural look ๐ A classic container in a handy size, easy to carry in your bag, but lacks a mirror. ๐ช Light creamy formula that you can easily apply with your finger, the pigments come out more that way! ๐๐ป Brush felt unnecessary, but used it today. Doesn't crumble and doesn't give you raccoon eyes ๐ฆ But since the palette is so light, it would have been hard anyway (see picture with the applied). ๐Summary๐ โ๏ธ Cheap โ๏ธ Easy to apply โ๏ธ Perfect for a natural look โ๏ธ A bit too natural for me, hard to build up.
