Chrome Star od Dolce & Gabbana to paleta, która emanuje luksusem, a sama opakowanie jest tak luksusowe i eleganckie, że ledwo chcę jej dotykać. Bo gdy ją dotykam, staje się pełna odcisków palców, co jest mniej zabawne, ale na szczęście łatwo je wytrzeć. Testowałem cienie do powiek w wielu różnych okazjach, aby zobaczyć, co o nich myślę. Zarówno z bazą, jak i bez bazy, jako makijaż codzienny i bardziej festiwalowe looki. Cienie są dobrze napigmentowane, znacznie lepsze, niż się spodziewałem. Miałem pewne uprzedzenia wobec luksusowych marek, które produkują makijaż, i że często nie są one szczególnie dobre. Ale tutaj jestem pozytywnie zaskoczony! Cienie są bardzo łatwe w obróbce, niemal same się blendują, wymaga to minimalnego wysiłku, aby ładnie je nałożyć. Są trochę pudrowe, ale mimo to trzymają się naprawdę dobrze, nie opadając. Najlepszy efekt uzyskuję, gdy mam bazę pod oczy, wtedy kolory również lepiej się prezentują. Paleta ma właściwie wszystko, czego szukam, z wyjątkiem naprawdę jasnego cienia do użycia w wewnętrznym kąciku. Gdyby był tam taki, paleta byłaby dla mnie kompletna. Ale cieszę się, że jest tam czarny kolor, więc mogę stworzyć ciemniejsze smoky eyes, które wyglądają tak ładnie. To właśnie ten czarny, brązowy cień do załamania u góry i brązowy połyskujący w prawym dolnym rogu stały się moimi ulubionymi i tymi, które najczęściej używałem, ponieważ te trzy razem wyglądają super ładnie! Use:
This palette offers two iconic eye looks. For the day look use the right side of the palette and for the night look use the left.
Contour the crease with shade 1, blending towards the brow bone.
Apply shade 2 as your base color all over the lid.
Use shade 3 to add intensity to the outer corner blending along the upper and lower lash line.
Top it off with a pop of sparkle adding shade 4 to the center of the eyelid.
