    Not Bad!!

    I got the nice task from #lykoinflutester to try this shampoo from #WellaProfessionals along with a conditioner, hair mask, and hair serum from the same line. It’s their "Ultimate Smooth" series, which is designed to detox the hair from metals. I don’t really know much about hair care, I’m more of a skincare nerd 🤓 But I have a bit of an idea about my scalp and my hair, and I have a sense of what works and what doesn’t. I have relatively long hair that I mostly just want to keep clean and fresh 😄 I usually try to stretch it for about 5 days between my washes, because I find that my hair also stays from getting greasy longer that way. This shampoo comes in a clear, nice bottle with a regular screw cap. It’s not hard to squeeze the product out of the bottle. I think it’s more concentrated than what I’m used to, so I’ve probably overdosed a bit, but that doesn’t matter much. When you massage it in, it creates a rich lather quite quickly, which also contributes to the feeling that it’s concentrated. I don’t feel the need to shampoo twice with this shampoo, which is a big plus. Even though the hair initially feels rough after just shampooing, it’s still not quite as bad as it can be with other shampoos. And the feeling afterward is that the hair feels properly clean and very shiny! It feels fresh and strong, I’m satisfied! The only minor downside that arose is that I noticed a few more small dry patches on my head than usual, but it’s hard to say if the shampoo caused this or not. The scent is mild but nice, you can sense the jasmine and vanilla mentioned in the description. The scent also lingers in the hair for a little while after washing, which I like - but for my part, it could definitely be even more. The bottom line is that this feels like a really good shampoo! I can’t quite give it 5 stars because I don’t think it was life-changing, but good and well 4! The price, however, I think is quite high, but if there’s room for it in your budget, I would say GO FOR IT! 🥰 #lykoinflutester #WellaProfessionals #shampoo

    Started Losing Hair

    My hair type: Scandinavian, flyaway (at least normally) and pin straight, tends to not take color when dyeing hair, for example. I got to try Wella's Ultimate Smooth series as a #lykoinflutester and was enthusiastic. A little too enthusiastic, because I used everything at once. Shampoo, hair mask in the lengths, conditioner, and then miracle Oil in the ends. It turned out to be way too much for my hair. Yeah, you can see for yourself in the picture. The hair became heavy and an oily, greasy disaster. It was a mistake to use all the products at the same hair wash, but shame on the one who gives up! Next time I only used the shampoo and conditioner on the ends. No miracle oil. As the second picture shows, it got better, but I still felt the hair was heavy and shapeless, and it got dirty after half a day. Normally, I can go three days without it looking dirty. Next time I chose to wash my hair twice with the shampoo, to then really just take the conditioner all the way out to the ends. But no. The hair felt dull. And when I tried to blow-dry it, or use the curling iron, there were no curls. I think my hair has never weighed this much? The shampoo smells light, and has, in my opinion, a nice slightly spicy but still soft scent. But unfortunately, neither the hair nor the scalp felt clean afterward. I thought the scalp felt greasy even after I had blow-dried. To be honest, it reminded me of an episode in my youth when I decided to only wash my hair with green soap. After about 1.5 weeks, I started losing a lot of hair, so I stopped even trying to use the product anymore and returned to my usual. Oh, how nice it was. And even though I can't say for sure if it was the products that caused the hair loss, it stopped at least when I stopped using the products. So unfortunately, this shampoo did not work at all for my hair. #WellaProfessionals

    Very good and moisturizing

    Shampoo is part of a series with shampoo, conditioner, mask, and serum. I have very curly hair that requires a lot of moisture. And already during the shampooing, it feels very good. The scent is mild and pleasant, lingering for several days in the hair. The bottle is transparent with a snap cap that can sometimes be a bit difficult to open when you have long nails. After a few shampoos, I do notice that I've gotten some bumps on my scalp, but whether it's due to the shampoo is uncertain. Overall, I am very satisfied with Wella's shampoo, but the price tag is quite hefty.     Testing Wella's Products

    I'm testing this shampoo in a series with shampoo, conditioner, mask, and serum. The shampoo is supposed to cleanse the hair of metals and be good for dry and frizzy hair. I have thick long hair that takes a while to clean. I've used many of Wella's products before and generally think they tend to be of good quality. I think this shampoo is the same, it smells nice, has a fresh scent, and my hair feels clean after the first wash (I sometimes shampoo my hair twice). Extra points for the nice packaging. The only negative I think about almost all products is why the shampoo bottle isn't bigger, it takes much more shampoo than conditioner, and in this series, I now have both shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask, so the shampoo runs out very quickly compared to the other products.     Ultimate smooth shampoo

    I got to be a test pilot for this hair care series via Smartson, and the love/hate is a fact. My hair is curly, but it’s quite thin and frizzy strands, it gets straightened and colored and endures most things. Never has my hair felt so soft after just one shampoo. However, I haven’t tried just using the shampoo, but I can imagine that I would actually feel satisfied without other products. It was also economical, I didn’t need much for my hair that goes a bit below my shoulders. So my concern that it would run out quickly with the relatively small bottle was unfounded. The problem is the scent. The first time I actually liked it, maybe because it was new and not at all like my usual products. It wasn’t an overwhelming strong scent, leaning a bit floral etc. But every other time, the scent became something I couldn’t handle at all. Covid has ruined my sense of smell, and all I can smell is that it smells old and musty. Kind of like a summer cottage and wet dog. Still not strong, but as soon as I have my hair down, it’s constantly present. Super sad, and it’s hardly the product’s fault, but I can no longer use it.     Wella Professionals Ultimate Smooth Shampoo

    I got to test this shampoo for free on behalf of Smartson. "Wella Professionals Ultimate Smooth Shampoo is formulated with Metal Purifier technology to detox your hair from metals" I can't really assess if the shampoo has done anything for my hair, but it sounds like a good feature in a shampoo. My experience with the shampoo is that it is concentrated and cleanses as it should. The scent could have been better; I thought it smelled a bit, but unfortunately not a very nice floral scent. The shampoo lathered nicely.

    Pretty okay

    Pretty okay shampoo, does the job and cleans the scalp without drying out the hair strands. I usually use Olaplex, which I find to be more economical and lasts longer. This one feels a bit more luxurious. I have curly hair but usually style it. But before I styled my hair this time, I found the curls to be much more defined and curlier without frizz. I didn't love the scent of this shampoo. It smelled a bit like almond, which isn't to my taste. I don't think the shampoo is sufficiently economical for this price range.

    Softer and shinier hair after just a few washes

    I have slightly wavy, but quite frizzy and dry hair, so I was curious about how Wella Professionals Ultimate Smooth would work for me. After testing the shampoo a couple of times, I already feel that my hair is both shinier and more manageable. The scent is fresh and pleasant, and I find the packaging to be both nice and easy to use. A small downside is that it takes quite a bit of product since I have thick and long hair. Considering the price, it feels a bit too high for me to buy the product again, but I am very grateful for the opportunity to try it.     Super good shampoo!

    I was positively surprised by this shampoo! I thought the bottle was a bit small, but the soap is thick, so you don't need to use as much as you usually do. I love the scent of the shampoo, and the scent lingers long after. Not too strong or weak, but just right. My hair was thin, worn, and frizzy before. The shampoo has made it fuller and more moisturized, and the end result has been positive. I am absolutely satisfied, the only downside is the price.     Lather a little

    I had the pleasure of testing this shampoo by participating as a test pilot via Smartson and received a free test product. I experienced a certain scent, less than I wish, sv Jasmine. I washed my hair three times, yet it felt like that lovely feeling of lather didn't really come up. My hair felt soft and smooth when it was dry, but got greasy pretty quickly, it only took two days.
