Better than I dared hope for!
I was lucky enough to be assigned as a #lykoinflutester to try out a series of hair products from #WellaProfessionals. It's their Ultimate Smooth series, which includes shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, and hair serum. If you're curious about the other products, my reviews are up to read, but here we have now come to the last step, namely the Hair Serum ✨️ I have quite long hair, typically Scandinavian and bleached with color residues. I think my hair is healthy, and I have no problems with frizz or anything like that. Maybe I'm not the best test person, but I have tried 😊 And the truth is that my expectations were exceeded. Since I have "Scandinavian hair", it is already smooth and shiny. So dry shampoos and texture sprays are my type of products, and I have had a bit of fear that a hair serum would just enhance the smooth, shiny feeling and possibly make the hair feel greasy. So I haven't used any such product, and I don't use any heat tools, so I don't need any heat protection either. This hair serum is apparently a "hair oil in serum form", and I find it very light, which I like! I use it after I've washed my hair in towel-dried hair, take a few pumps, and spread it over the ends and lengths. Then I brush through and let it air dry. I think the serum disappears nicely into the hair, and I don't find it greasy! When it has dried, it also smells lovely of jasmine and vanilla, and just that is a reason for me to want to use it. I don't know if I can say that I've been won over to the other side and have now become a hair serum enthusiast, but I actually like this product. Smart and generous packaging, but I can't handle the scent....
Wella Professionals Ultimate Smooth Miracle Oil Serum 30ml comes in a smart packaging with a pump function that makes it easy to dispense the right amount, a drop, without waste or mess, which feels particularly important when it comes to oil-based products as spills can easily leave stubborn stains. Since such a small amount goes a long way, the bottle feels generous. The consistency was soft and easy to wash off from the hands afterwards. Unfortunately, it’s a big downside that the scent is so strong and overpowering. It significantly lowers my rating. The smell was hard to wash off, and even though I washed my hair with a shampoo from another brand twice, my hair still smells strong. The unpleasant scent is most noticeable when the hair is dry. I suspected from the beginning that it was the oil that smelled the most and chose at one point to skip it after using shampoo, mask, and conditioner from the same line, which made the scent less overpowering and easier to wash out of the hair. But it’s still there. In summary, this is a practical and economical oil with a smart pump function, but its strong scent can be a significant drawback, especially for those who are sensitive to intense perfume scents. [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have started using Wella Professionals ultimate smooth miracle serum and I am really satisfied and impressed. The scent is absolutely wonderfully luxurious without being overwhelming, and my hair becomes incredibly soft right away. What I like most is how it makes my hair look healthy and shiny without becoming greasy or heavy. Every time I use it, my hair feels softer, looks more well-groomed, and is easier to manage. Completely ordinary hair oil

The oil on my hands after using this is hardly wash off. The bottle is at least nice to look at, so it can stay out in the bathroom. Silky smooth and tangle-free hair in just a few seconds!
I got to test the product for free via Influenster. Here are my thoughts. At first impression, the scent seems relatively strong before application, but after application, it turns into a pleasant scent with hints of warm vanilla. The serum has a very light and runny consistency, which makes it easy to distribute in the hair. I have typically Scandinavian hair, many fine strands. I don't feel that the hair gets weighed down. The result in the hair I find impressive. The hair becomes silky smooth, manageable, and stays tangle-free all day. Frizz is significantly reduced, and split ends become almost invisible. I prefer to apply the product to towel-dried hair, as applying it to dry hair can feel somewhat greasy in the lengths. A big advantage is that the hair continues to feel soft and well-cared for even when I don't apply the serum after showering, which for me indicates a long-lasting and sustainable result.
