Amazing silver shampoo 😍
I have typical Scandinavian hair with fine strands that easily become dry and quickly absorb silver shampoo, turning it blue/gray. This silver shampoo impresses immediately with its ability to neutralize yellow and warm tones in my hair without turning it blue/gray. However, I believe you shouldn't wash your hair with this shampoo daily. Otherwise, you might get a shade towards blue/gray. 2 days a week to maintain a nice shade is good. It also doesn't feel dry after washing. It gets a nice cool shade. The consistency is just right and the shampoo lathers quite well, making it easy to distribute evenly throughout the hair. The scent is fresh and not overwhelming, which is always a plus. Very pigmented
As a #lykoinflutester I had the honor of testing this silver refine series. To start with, the packaging is very nice. It looks good in the shower 😍. Something I also like is the scent, it smells fresh but not too much. Now to what I found a bit boring. I have experience with many silver shampoos, but with this one, I find that my hair easily turns purple/gray. Even though I was quick to rinse it out, I feel like it still sticks. I have been testing the silver refine shampoo from waterclouds for a month now. I think this silver shampoo was really good for my hair, which is a bit dry and needs more moisture. Other silver shampoos I have tried often dry my hair out a lot, but this one moisturized it. I also got a really nice cool shade in my hair instead of the blue/purple shade that many other silver shampoos can give. I used it once a week and had it in for about 5 minutes, and that was enough for me. Pretty okay
I had the honor of testing waterclouds silver shampoo. I think the bottle is nice and practical, and the shampoo smells wonderful. Unfortunately, it hasn't given the result I completely wished for, I'm a bit more dark blonde at the roots and have noticed that it doesn't want to remove some yellow tones in that area unfortunately. On my lengths, it removes the warmth and gives a nice color, but unfortunately not in the places I had wished. Maintenance yes - miracle no
I have now tested Waterclouds Silver Shampoo for a few weeks, and have used it about once a week, as I usually do with purple/silver shampoo💜 I don't use this type of shampoo with every wash, but as a supplement to keep the blonde color clear. I have light, thin Nordic hair, which can easily become both dry and frizzy, so I am quite careful about which products I choose🤗 The first impression was positive✨ The bottle feels simple yet professional, and the consistency is just thick enough, making the shampoo easy to distribute in the hair. It lathers surprisingly well, even with a small amount, which makes it economical to use🫧 The scent is mild, clean, and pleasant 🌸 Nothing special or unique, but very safe and fresh. After washing, I am left with a feeling that my hair is really and properly clean🛁 When it comes to results, I find that it removes some of the worst discoloration and makes the hair a bit clearer🤍 At the same time, I didn't get rid of all the yellow/orange tones, and I missed a clear wow effect. Additionally, I found that my hair became more frizzy than I usually do, which brings the overall impression down a bit 💭 ⭐⭐⭐/5 from me this time. Visible Effect
My second product I'm testing from Waterclouds and I'm once again impressed. I've tried many silver shampoos and often found that my hair became dry and rough afterwards, but not here! A rich shampoo that shows results after just one wash. I use it about 1-2 times a week. A little goes a long way, which I like. A tip is to use a pair of gloves while shampooing. Remarkable Brightening
The Waterclouds Silver Refine series has a stylish appearance and promises brightening and coolness. The shampoo already showed visible results on the first use, together with the series conditioner. Gloves are good if desired, as the pigment stains the hands. The shampoo itself is quite runny and did not foam significantly. The product has a pleasant scent. The shampoo cleaned the hair well. My hair is bleached with natural waves. For my particularly dry hair, the shampoo felt a bit drying, and for the same reason, the color clung a bit unevenly. Since the product colors very intensively and is a bit drying, I would recommend that the products be used only when the hair color turns yellowish and needs brightening. Fresh scent
My hair is medium thick, bleached with blonde highlights, dry, and tends to get frizzy easily. I wash my hair 2-3 times a week and have used the silver shampoo about every other wash. The product has a mild and fresh scent that I appreciate. I am sensitive to scents and can easily trigger my migraine with strong fragrances, but this one doesn’t bother me at all; on the contrary, I like the scent. The shampoo has a lot of pigment in it, and the first time I was a bit rushed and forgot to use gloves when I applied it, which shows on my hands that turn completely purple. But after a good scrubbing, it fortunately comes off. For the remaining times, I have used gloves, which is preferable. I have left it in for the recommended time, i.e., 2-5 minutes. The best results occur if I leave it in for up to 5 minutes. Unlike other silver shampoos I have tried, my hair feels really clean. It leaves a clean and fresh feeling without feeling like there are product residues left in the hair. It is the most effective silver shampoo I have tried; it removes every tendency towards yellow and warm tones in my hair. The highlights become very noticeably more prominent, and I have even been asked several times if I have done new highlights in my hair, even though it has been almost exactly a year since the last time. There is a big difference, and I like that; the effect also lasts well in the hair without fading. I have a dry and sensitive scalp that easily starts to itch from different products, but I find this one very mild; my scalp has not reacted negatively at all. I like the design of the bottle and that it stands steadily in the shower and is easy to get product out of. Positively Surprised
I have used this shampoo along with the conditioner and leave-in spray from the same series about once a week for a month, and I noticed a clear difference after the first use. My hair is brown, but highlighted/bleached, and can easily turn orange and yellow in tone. I felt this significantly removed a lot of it in just one wash, without me having to leave it unnecessarily long in my hair. I am not a patient person when it comes to masks and similar products, so the product usually doesn't get more time than it takes to wash the shower or possibly shave (😅). Max a couple of minutes, in other words. My hair was well moisturized and the yellow and orange tones were toned down, and my hair became generally much cooler in tone. I forgot to take a picture, but I will try to do it when the contrast is possibly big again - now I have been using this for a while :( The only negative I have to mention is the consistency. It is very runny, so runny that I considered asking if there was something wrong with the products I received - but I see that there are several with the same experience, so it is as it should be. This makes it a bit harder to apply in my opinion, so I would rather take a little at a time in several rounds. I use it as shampoo number 2 after a clarifying shampoo, followed by the conditioner in the same series, before I finish with either conditioner or hair mask. I brush through easily with a brush in the shower when the conditioner is in, to spread it well and get an even tone - my light hair is mainly in the length and not in the scalp. The shampoo makes my scalp feel a bit oilier faster, but that is manageable. I think it helps with the clarifying shampoo. I have been testing #waterclouds silver refine shampoo for almost 1 month! I usually have dark blonde hair, I go & highlight my hair light about 2 times a year & then silver shampoo is perfect to use in between to maintain the color. When I use silver shampoo, I usually always use a clarifying shampoo to remove product residue so that my hair can "reset" itself. Be aware that it can stain your skin! I noticed for the first time that I got purple between my fingers 😅 Luckily, it was easy to get it off. This shampoo is very runny compared to others I use/have used! If you have thick hair, I recommend taking a little at a time so you don’t waste any! I have been so lucky to receive Waterclouds' purple series. It is one of my favorite brands, and I was completely converted the last time I tested one of their products. A little quick info; I have a hairdressing background and fully bleached thick hair. It is very dry, damaged, and porous as a result of the bleaching. A mistake that many make with purple products at home is that they often are not thorough, or they are done in 1-2 minutes. It is important to think of this as a treatment. Take your time, don’t rush anything. If you do, you will be rewarded with good results, making the product worth every penny. The shampoo has been used in conjunction with the conditioner in the same series. This was my method for achieving the result in my after picture; 1. Take a bit of your own shampoo, this is to remove grease and dirt - but most importantly, open the cuticles of the hair strand before you add pigments. 2. Take the purple shampoo in your hand and work it a bit with it/foam it up. This is so that the shampoo doesn’t become too concentrated where you first hit the hair, thus avoiding purple spots. 3. Work the shampoo WELL in, make sure to cover everything and apply plenty of product where you see it’s needed. 4. Rinse out and add the purple conditioner in the same series. 5. After you feel you have worked the conditioner in well and achieved an even application - wait 10-15 min. Perfect time to do your other shower routines! 6. Do not rinse out, but add your own conditioner and work it in. Wait 2-3 min. 7. Rinse out. Voila! The shampoo contains lots of pigments and really does its job of eliminating yellow pigments. The attached picture says enough, as it is a big transformation. My only negative feedback is that the product feels very runny. And I understand why, but it makes it a bit challenging for inexperienced users to achieve an even result. Other than that, the product has really done what it promises. And I am super satisfied with the result. I have tested the shampoo from the Waterclouds series Silver Refine over the past 4 weeks. Also together with the conditioner from the same series. Here come my honest opinions and experiences about the shampoo! 🧼 Background 💇🏼♀️: I have thin, fine, Scandinavian, and treated hair. Three times a year, I go to the hairdresser to fully bleach the roots, as well as tone and cut my hair. Therefore, my hair can tend to absorb more of such products. Initially, the product definitely does what a shampoo is supposed to do, i.e., cleanses and removes dirt / product residues. It also fulfills the description of enhancing cool tones in the hair and intensely refreshing the color between salon visits. The series is categorized for blonde & ash-blonde hair, which I absolutely agree with. Besides this, it smells very fresh and has a lovely scent in the hair. I also don’t think it makes the hair too coarse during use despite my treated hair. 🪷 The points I have about the product are that I feel it neither gives a clearer nor livelier shade. For me, the result is more cool than neutralized and almost gets that gray tone that was popular in 2016. When the hair color goes in that direction, I feel the hair becomes dull, loses liveliness and shine. I also find that shine is quite difficult to achieve on light, blonde hair compared to dark, brown hair. It can look good in the right light, like in the pictures, I think it looks nice! But often I have experienced a dullness over the hair after use that I do not appreciate. I don’t know if it’s about my hair type, that I have treated hair, that I use several products from the series together, or that my hair color is very light. The shampoo seems to be powerful, which many will surely appreciate, but I would almost say it resembles a color bomb and on my hair easily overshoots and gets an uneven color distribution throughout the hair. 💜 I, with severe visual impairments, appreciate the difference in appearance between the shampoo and conditioner bottles as it really helps in the shower when I can’t read what’s on the bottles. 🫶🏻 However, I believe this product is great for some other hair types and shades! Especially if you are looking for a strong silver shampoo and are not afraid of the hair becoming more grayish-purple after use. How to use:
