StylPro Hair Brush with Red Light for Increased Hair Growth

As a Lyko influencer, I have tried StylPro's new hair brush with red light that is supposed to stimulate hair growth in the scalp. The brush has soft silicone bristles and a massage function, and it feels like a good product, easy to use, and it charges with USB-C. However, the battery life is very short, only a couple of minutes. I became curious about red light therapy and looked up the research (and there was a lot of research) that shows that red light can stimulate hair follicles and cells, increase hair density, and promote hair growth. There have been large studies showing significant growth with this 680 nm treatment. However, I personally have not noticed any difference yet, partly because the time is too short (3 weeks), but also because it was difficult for me to quantify growth since I still have quite a lot of hair. However, I believe it is a good product for those who are starting to experience hair loss, both considering what the research shows and that it is well-designed! [hashtag] [hashtag]

Can't you use it while it's plugged in/charging?

    Not for me

As [hashtag], I have been able to try this Re-Growth Red Light Hairbrush from [hashtag] for a few weeks now. I have long and thick hair, and I have no issues with hair loss, so my assessment of this is solely based on the actual user experience. I can't comment on how it affects hair growth as I have no basis to notice any difference. I thought it was an exciting product to test since there is so much talk about what red light can do for our cells. However, I wasn't convinced of anything with this. I see some have issues with the battery life. I did not experience that. I have used it for up to 10 minutes at a time, with both red light and vibration, and have been able to use it a couple of times before it needs to be charged again. I divided my head into three areas and focused on one area at a time. I held it on each area for 3 minutes. The best part was the vibration, which acted like a simple scalp massage. Other than that, it really gave me nothing. I need to be able to feel that it has some effect if I am to continue using products, otherwise I quickly lose interest and don't want to spend time on it. Unfortunately, that was the case with this product. I can't see what it is supposed to do for me, other than give me a little form of scalp massage.

    Promising, but not quite convincing

I have been using the hairbrush with red light for a few weeks now, and it has been an interesting experience. I have noticed that my hair feels healthier and stronger, but I am not entirely convinced that it has sped up growth yet. The red light technology seems promising, and it is easy to use, but I had hoped for more visible results. But I will continue to use the brush, in hopes of seeing noticeable results. The brush is comfortable to use, and it is a nice extra treatment in my hair routine, but I am still unsure if the effect is as dramatic as claimed. All in all, a good start, but not quite there yet. #lykoinflutester #stylpro

    Neither bu nor bä (än)

I got to test this gadget that is supposed to promote hair growth and thickness, from #stylpro like #lykoinflutester. I have thin, Scandinavian hair. I also have high temples/sides, which is where I have used this thing in hopes of increased hair growth right there (hope is the last thing to abandon you, right? 😂). Since the product is supposed to be used on dry hair without products in it, it has limited my usage, as I love hairspray and consider it essential 😅. I have used it about every other to every third day, and then especially in the temples. It is quite time-consuming since, according to Stylepro's own recommendations (it says 3 min here on Lyko), you should use it for at least 5 min on each spot. I have, unlike others, now used it statically - meaning I just held it against the same point while it was running and did not drag it through the entire hair/scalp. I find the instructions a bit vague, so I have used it to the best of my ability and how I interpreted them. My way has therefore made the procedure a bit cumbersome and not something I looked forward to since I have weak arms and felt they went numb after a couple of minutes this way 😅. The massage is very "buzzing" and can probably be perceived as noisy and loud, but is quite cozy after a while even though it makes it so you don't hear much else 😂. The battery is supposed to last for several sessions according to the instructions, but already after two to three 5-minute sessions, it needs to be charged, so I never really got into a flow. You also don't get the actual "plug thing" with it, just the cord. (Good thing I had such a thing at work, because at home I had none 🙈). Well, but the result then? Yes, I actually think I have seen some increased hair growth, although it shows poorly in the pictures since I have so much light regrowth now 🙈 I really believe that daily use can help, and I will continue to use it (for hope lives)! 😁

Easy to use red light for the scalp

I have enjoyed testing the Stylpro Re-Growth Red Light Hairbrush. It is easy to operate and weighs almost nothing. The massaging function is nice on the scalp, and the silicone bristles glide easily through the hair. The brush requires quick charging via USB. I haven't seen a result yet, but I'm not done using it. I hope that in the long run it can help with some of my hair that continues to break after breastfeeding 🤞🏼 #lykoinflutester #stylpro

    Midtree

When I got the message that I would be testing this, I thought: Such an exciting concept. But I probably wasn't the right person to test this, I don't want more growth, cut my hair halfway through testing, don't struggle with much hair loss in the summer, and I'm not a fan of scalp massage. So I'll rather try this in the winter to see if there's less hair loss then. The massaging vibrations felt okay, according to my partner who loves scalp pampering. Couldn't see a difference in his hair. As others have commented, the battery drains quickly. So just okay vibration+ poor battery life=3 stars [hashtag] [hashtag]

    Pretty okay

[hashtag] [hashtag] I got this for testing and after trying it a few times, I can say that the use is somehow therapeutic, but I give it one star because it can't even last 10 minutes before it screams for a charge. Otherwise, it's quite nice. Now I've been brushing here for almost a month and it still hasn't changed at all. Now I use it for 10 minutes per side (10 minutes per side from both sides), then I have to put it on charge) so I can't brush for very long. The hair does feel nice though.
