This is perfect if you want a gel that is light and at the same time protects the skin. I had previously tried Iunik's gel but it is not nearly as thick as this one. My skin has loved this when my skin is irritated or just when I want to lock in moisture in my face after my evening skincare. However, I don't think this sits well under makeup as I have tried almost everything to get it to sit well under my makeup. No matter what I do, the gel starts to flake or separates my makeup. Very nice for my sensitive skin! Good ingredients! Absorbs well and can also be used before makeup. I recommend applying on slightly damp skin for maximum hydration. This is a gel, so if you need more moisture, you should use a moisturizer or serum/essence in addition. Good texture, but a bit lacking in moisture
I have combination skin that breaks out easily, but unfortunately this was too little moisturizing for me. The texture is good and cooling, so it should work for many. Hi! I am looking for a moisturizing cream that strengthens the skin barrier, consisting of ceramides (preferably also hyaluronic acid and niacinamide). I have a few requirements for a good moisturizer, namely that it should be: Alcohol-free EU allergen-free Fragrance-free Safe against fungi and acne Paraben-free Reef-safe Silicone-free Sulfate-free This cream meets all the requirements, but I am afraid it won't provide enough moisture for my weak, sensitive, and irritated skin. Therefore, I have a couple of questions regarding this product: Will this provide enough moisture and strengthen the skin barrier well enough for a weakened skin barrier as a result of Epiduo? And can these two be used together? Does this contain exfoliating substances that are a disadvantage for someone using Epiduo? Do you have any other recommendations for my skin? Descriptions of my skin in detail: combination, very sensitive skin, a few dry (flaky) areas now and then as a result of EpiDuo, very "dull", several red spots after acne, acne-prone (moderate acne), a few small white "bumps" here and there, appearance-wise "lifeless" (no glow), very large pores or so-called "sebaceous filaments" on the T-zone (especially the nose). For now, I am using CeraVe's "moisturizing cream" which provides enough moisture for my skin, but it stings a bit and is according to "SkinSort" not free from silicone and sulfate, in addition to not being safe to use for acne-prone skin.
