    Terrible smell

    I'm really not scent-sensitive normally, but this was so bad that I can't even handle using the product. This has never happened before, I genuinely thought the serum was old until I read more reviews with the same experience. Went straight back to the more expensive but highly loved Medik8 again.

      Hey Amanda! 🌸 Just like you said, it seems to have a bit of a special scent to it. A somewhat unusual or "less fresh" scent is not entirely uncommon in effective vitamin C serums – especially if they contain ferulic acid and several active forms of vitamin C. It seems like you have a real favorite from before to fall back on, which is good 🌟, since this one didn’t turn out to be a hit because of the scent 🧡.

    Great product with strong scent

    I really like this! It gives my skin a very nice glow and evens out my skin tone. No irritation (though very sensitive skin). The only thing I think one might react to is the scent, which is strong and special (hard to describe). It doesn't bother me, but I'm also not scent-sensitive; if you are, I think you might react.

So fun that you like it, I do too 🧡 I often have a hard time with scented products, but I love this scent, and it’s Ferulic acid combined with Vitamin C that gives a sort of burnt scent, which can be good to know. I think it disappears quickly after application since it’s only the skincare ingredients that provide the scent and no added fragrance 🙏 Take care!
