What kind of routine can I create with these skincare products?
I have long suffered from various types of skin issues (dryness, acne, acne scars, redness, and large pores) and have tried many different products that haven't felt helpful. I just bought several skincare products that I hope will help, but I'm not sure in what order to use the products or what a good and effective skincare routine would be. Like a time travel, but the bad kind 🥹
I have had acne problems since my teenage years, where it has gone in waves. A little over two years ago, I finally went to a dermatologist and got help. I was on isotretinoin for a little over 7 months and finally got rid of it. Since I stopped the treatment, I have only gotten a few isolated pimples. I use Niactil, which I love, and it has been great. But I thought about alternating with another serum with niacinamide to stretch it a bit. I wanted to try this since it had mostly received very good reviews. I am always cautious with new products and introduce them slowly and one at a time. I know that the skin can react to new products and that there can be “purging.” But I got a lot of new and inflamed pimples, big and painful. When I stopped using it, they disappeared; it might have stopped if I had continued. The ordinary niacinamide serum
Wow! If I could recommend just one serum, it would be this one. I have now used it for almost a week and already see big differences. I have quite sensitive skin and have had some problems with acne. I tried this serum because I have heard very good things about it, and quickly realized that all the rumors were true. My redness and irritation around certain areas on my skin, like my cheeks and chin, have disappeared. My skin is smoother (less bumpy) and more radiant. I use it both in the morning and evening, which works really well. It also sits nicely under makeup and doesn’t get too sticky or anything like that. I have really gotten hooked on The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%! It’s one of those products that feels simple and uncomplicated, yet has earned a natural place in my skincare routine. 🤍 I usually use a few drops after cleansing and toner, then follow up with my regular moisturizer. The serum is quite light and absorbs nicely, which I really appreciate. I prefer not to have a serum that stays sticky all day, and I don’t think this one does. What I like most is the feeling afterward. The skin feels softer, fresher, and a bit more balanced. Hi! Worth it or not worth it?
Had no visible effect on dark pigmentation spots. Caused a burning and irritating sensation upon application. Can feel uncomfortable on the skin when used. Used 2 bottles but saw no difference after 8 months. No strong smell.
