I was thinking of buying these for my mom as a Christmas gift. She has short and very thick hair. But they are flat and lack volume at the roots, so I thought this shampoo would be perfect. However, I know that she can sometimes have a dry scalp and has read reviews that it dries out the scalp. Is there anything that can be used in between washes that won't make the scalp too dry?
