I have an oily scalp and want to buy a shampoo that helps with this. My hair is a bit darker blonde, straight and thin, not very damaged, and I find the lengths fairly shiny and smooth. But the hair feels oily already after one day. I also think that since the hair is quite thin, it "parts," which makes it look extra oily. I've tried detox shampoos, including k18, but I don't think it worked well for my scalp. I'm torn between buying this one or the Redken amino-mint shampoo. Which would you recommend? I have thin, straight, blonde hair. My scalp gets oily already after washing, even though I shampoo several times carefully on the scalp, have tried several different shampoos both expensive brands and cheap ones but don’t experience much help. I was thinking of buying this from Redken or trying "L’Oréal Professionnel Scalp Advanced For Oily Scalp." So I wonder which one you would recommend for me. I don’t feel like I have a very dry scalp, nothing I’ve noticed much except that it can itch a little sometimes. I use a lot of dry shampoo because I don’t want to have to wash my hair every day… I guess that also damages the hair a lot. I have quite dark blonde hair that I've bleached a few times and now have a slightly darker regrowth. I was thinking of buying these for my mom as a Christmas gift. She has short and very thick hair. But they are flat and lack volume at the roots, so I thought this shampoo would be perfect. However, I know that she can sometimes have a dry scalp and has read reviews that it dries out the scalp. Is there anything that can be used in between washes that won't make the scalp too dry? Had very high expectations, but this was not good at all. I've never experienced a razor hurting when using it. It feels like it's pulling the hair out instead of shaving it off, it gets stuck. I find that I get more red spots from it and not all hair strands are shaved off. I also use the shaving trio that deo doc recommends. I've given it a few tries now and don't think it feels any better.
