USE ONLY IF YOU'VE BLEACHED
I've read some reviews here about people being dissatisfied with the product when they're brunette and it's supposed to remove orange/red tones and it doesn't. I usually use blue shampoo when I've bleached my hair since I'm brunette and I don't get cooler tones from silver shampoo because I have too many orange/red pigments left. That's why I use blue as it removes those tones. So if you're brunette, I can't say if it works or not, but when bleaching if you want to get rid of the dark and orange tones this is fantastic! Did not neutralize the color at all
Did not help to remove my warm tones from my medium brown hair that leans towards copper at all. I used the product with a generous hand and let it sit for about 10 minutes, but no. It didn't even build up in the hair over time after several uses. Unfortunately, a total miss purchase. I give one star for the scent, which is really good in the product. I can't recommend it based on my experience, but I've seen that it has worked for some. 😊 I got better results just with silver shampoo.23769 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 yearsHi Sara, Thank you for your review! 🩷 I’m sorry to hear that the product hasn’t worked as expected in your hair! ❣️ The adhesion of the dyes can be affected by factors such as the condition of your hair, hair structure, or previously used color. If you want to try other dyes, these are my favorites, and there are many color options! lyko.com/en/four-reasons/four-reasons-color-mask-toning-treatment-latte lyko.com/en/wella-professionals/wella-professionals-color-fresh-mask-cool-espresso Have a lovely day! 😊🤍4 likes

Wow🤩
I used this Cold Brunette Shampoo from #milk_shake to get rid of the orange tones in my bleached blonde hair, and I am actually super satisfied!🩵✨ I had seen some bad reviews and was therefore a bit skeptical, but of course I had to try it myself. And I was positively surprised! It toned down the orange tones really well and gave my hair a much cooler tone🧊 In addition, it smells really good, and the best part is that my hair didn’t feel dry or straw-like after use. I therefore think this worked surprisingly well on my bleached hair, especially considering how much I wanted to neutralize the warm/orange tones. I am simply very satisfied and will definitely use it again!😁 #lykoreview170 views - The post was made 6 days
Color removal
Hi❣️ I am planning a color removal, not with bleach but with the help of Colorless. I currently have dark hair with red tones. So the idea is to have a blue shampoo ready, as I suspect it will be needed. Is this a good option (very mixed reviews)? Is there a matching conditioner? My hair is extremely thick, curly, and dry, so I need conditioner to be able to detangle it afterwards. What other options are there? 🌸🩷🌸120 views- The user's roll: Hairdresser at Lyko. The comment was made 5 daysHi Michaela "Smaragden"! 👋🏼😊 I totally understand the idea of having a blue shampoo ready after bleaching 🥰 Since you currently have dark hair with red tones, you will likely need a toner after Colourless to get the desired shade and neutralize the warmth. A blue shampoo is mainly for maintaining and preserving an already cooler shade. Therefore, it won’t be able to neutralize the warm pigments that can appear after bleaching in the same way a toner can 🤗 My tip is to first see what shade the hair gets after Colourless and then choose a toner based on the result. That way, you can get a much better and more even neutralization of the warm tones 🩵 Have a great day ✨

milk_shake Cold Brunette Shampoo 300 ml
A pretty okay shampoo that does its job but wasn’t my favorite. The hair feels drier, so I prefer color treatments.331 views - The post was made 4 weeksRating: 3 out of 5verified customer
milk_shake Cold Brunette Shampoo 300 ml
A shampoo that I recommend both for brunettes with warmer tones but also brunettes with blonde highlights like myself⭐️ The product does its job and leaves a cooler and lighter tone behind. The only thing I have to say about this product is that it can leave the hair a bit drier. Therefore, I always use a hair mask after applying the silver shampoo💕765 views - The post was made 1 monthRating: 1 out of 5verified customer
Do not buy!
I am naturally a brunette, but I highlighted my hair a few years ago and have since let it grow out. This did not work on my natural color NOR my bleached ends. Luckily it was on sale so I didn’t pay full price, but still wasted money718 views - The post was made 2 months

No effect.
Incredibly disappointing! I have light brown hair that is quite brazzy, purple shampoo doesn't work because it's too dark, so blue shampoo should work but this did nothing and I'm not even dark, and I left it on for 15 minutes. Boring when you hear how good it is at the checkout. It shouldn't be allowed to be sold as blue shampoo.1739 views - The post was made 3 monthsRating: 1 out of 5verified customer
Allergy-inducing
Contains Methylisothiazolinone which is highly allergy-inducing and can cause severe symptoms. Google Methylisothiazolinone + allergy. It's a shame the ingredient list isn't on Lyko's product page like it is on others. Got an allergic reaction. Wouldn't have bought the shampoo if I knew it contained MI. Do you have other blue shampoos for sale?1536 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 3 monthsRating: 1 out of 5verified customer
Disappointment
This was unfortunately a disappointment for me.. Tried several times, used up the whole bottle in the end and let it sit longer and longer each time, but never saw even a hint of a result! All the warm tones were just as prominent as before in my light brown hair!1766 views - The post was made 3 months
Red roots
Have more red in the roots than in the lengths, can this possibly "even out" over time? It is dyed hair, not naturally like this1710 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 3 monthsHi!💫 milk_shake Cold Brunette Shampoo can: ✔️ reduce redness in the hair over time ✔️ give a cooler tone But: ❌ it does not even out uneven color between roots and lengths ❌ can even make the difference more visible if the hair is already unevenly colored 👉 Best use: mostly on the roots, not over the entire hair if you want to avoid differences in shades Take care😍4 likes
