A really nice product, but I don't experience it as pink in the same way as in the picture. It almost looks from certain angles like there are red and silver flakes in it. I thought according to the picture that they would be pink. Quite coarse grains. Very nice polish and works just like the others in the same series, fits overall well over a red polish. Just not quite what I thought I ordered 💞 I will definitely continue to use (check out my look to see how it looks over a red polish) #cateye

How to Use:
INSTRUCTIONS
Important: Should any UV-curing product make contact with the skin around your nails, remove it immediately before curing with Gel iQ Pre-Cleanser on a cotton swab.

Step-by-step guide to achieving the Cat Eye effect with the Gel iQ system.
1.Cleaning: Saturate a cotton pad with Gel iQ Pre-Cleanser and thoroughly cleanse your nails. Allow nails to air dry for 30 seconds until completely dry. Do not touch the nail surface after cleaning.
2.¤ Base Coat: Apply a thin layer of Gel iQ Base Coat. Cure under the UV/LED lamp for 30 seconds.
3.¤ Cat Eye: Start by applying a thin layer of Cat Eye and cure for 60 seconds under the UV/LED lamp (hit the 30 sec button once, and when the lamp turns off, press the 30 sec button again). Apply another layer of Cat Eye but do not cure yet. NOTE: Work on one finger at a time. Use your chosen magnet to craft the Cat Eye effect. Position the magnet as close to the nail as possible without touching the polish. Once satisfied, cure under the LED lamp for 60 seconds (press the 30 sec button once, and when the lamp turns off, press the 30 sec button again) before proceeding to the next finger. If the pattern doesn’t meet your expectations, you can smooth the polish out with a clean brush and redesign the pattern with the magnet. NOTE: This adjustment must be made before curing under the UV/LED lamp. Clean any polish from the magnet using a bit of Pre Cleanser.
4.¤ Top Coat: Apply a thin layer of Gel iQ Top Coat and cure for 30 seconds under the UV/LED lamp.
5.Cleaning/Top Finishing: To achieve that perfect shine, the sticky residue left on the nail after curing the Top Coat must be removed. Clean the entire nail surface with Gel iQ High Shine Cleanser. Firmly wipe the surface to eliminate the sticky layer. Ensure you have at least 12 cotton pads ready for use.

For each nail, follow these steps:
1. Generously apply Gel iQ High Shine Cleanser to a cotton pad.
2. Press the wet side of the pad firmly against the entire nail and hold for 5 seconds.
3. Apply even pressure across the nail surface with two fingers. Pull from the cuticle to the tip of the nail in one smooth motion.
4. Use a fresh, clean pad for each nail and repeat the process for all nails.
5. After cleaning all nails in this manner, perform a final cleanse with the cleanser to bring out an incredible shine and luster. Dampen the pad with cleanser and clean from the cuticle towards the nail tip, starting in the middle and then moving to the left and right sides. Use a new clean pad for each hand.
6. Important! Conclude the treatment by washing your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
You’ve now achieved a glossy, durable manicure that will last up to 2 weeks.

Removing Depend Gel iQ
The ease of removing the polish can vary based on your nail type and quality. Therefore, we offer 2 different removal methods. We generally recommend Method 1 for polish removal, as it suits most nail types. For others, Method 2 is advised.
Method 1: Gel iQ Remover Oil gently lifts Gel iQ using a plant-based oil. This method requires a bit of growth between the cuticle and the polish, typically present after 2 weeks of wear. It’s exceptionally gentle on both the nail and cuticle, leveraging a unique chemical reaction between the remover oil, water, and polish for effective removal.
Method 2: For a more traditional approach, use Gel iQ Remover and Gel iQ Removal Wraps Foil to facilitate the removal process.

Removal with Method 1
Required products:
Gel iQ Remover Oil
Warm water at about 40 degrees Celsius
A bowl large enough to comfortably fit the fingers of one hand, or simply use the sink.
Procedure:
1. Liberally apply remover oil over the cuticle and entire nail of one hand.
2. Massage each nail for about 20-30 seconds.
3. Fill a bowl or sink with water at approximately 40 degrees Celsius. NOTE: Avoid overly hot water.
4. Immerse your fingers in the warm water, ensuring all are covered, and wait for 3 minutes. The warmer the water, the more effective the removal.
5. After 3 minutes, gently scrape off the polish starting at the growth near the cuticle with your nail or a manicure stick, keeping your hand in the water. Scrape gently, allowing the water to penetrate the seam between the nail and polish. This method gradually dissolves the Gel iQ, enabling you to peel off the polish in flakes if done correctly. The unique removal process is facilitated by the reaction between the oil, polish formula, and water.
Remember - the water will cool down, so for optimal results, maintain the temperature at about 40 degrees Celsius. You may need to change or warm the water during the removal.
NOTE! Proceed cautiously, dissolving the polish gradually with your fingers still in the water.
Take extra care not to damage your own nail, especially at the tips where they are most prone to breaking. The polish tends to adhere most strongly at the nail tips.
6. If the polish remains, repeat the process with more oil and warm water until completely removed.
Repeat for the other hand, finishing by massaging in any excess oil and drying your hands.

Removal with Method 2
Required products:
Gel iQ Remover
Gel iQ Removal Wraps Foil
Procedure:
Protect your work area with a towel and ensure the room is well-ventilated. Work on one hand at a time, as handling remover foil on both hands can be challenging. It’s crucial to seal the remover foil tightly to prevent the remover from evaporating too quickly, which would diminish its effectiveness. Keep the foil packets sealed on the other fingers until you’re ready to scrape off the polish. NOTE! Opening the foil packet too soon will cause the remover to evaporate, hardening the polish and making it more difficult to remove. The cotton surface must remain moist with Gel iQ Remover throughout the removal for the best results.
1. Saturate the cotton surface of the remover foil with Gel iQ Remover, place it against the nail, and seal the foil securely. Ensure the moist cotton surface fully covers the nail.
2. Wait for 15 minutes. NOTE: Processing time may vary depending on nail type. Open one foil packet to check if the polish has dissolved. If so, gently scrape off the polish with a manicure stick, taking care not to damage the nail. NOTE: Keep the foil packets sealed on the other fingers until you’re ready to scrape off the polish. If the polish hasn’t dissolved, reseal and wait until it’s fully dissolved. Tip! To expedite the process, lightly file the polish surface before applying the remover and foil. Avoid excessive filing or disturbing the cuticles.
3. Once the polish is fully dissolved, wash your hands with soap and warm water.
4. Afterward, nourish the nails and cuticles with cuticle cream or oil.
Warning Gel iQ Remover: Highly flammable. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.

Gel iQ-Pro Tips!
- Always opt for thin layers when applying.
- For nails experiencing extreme wear, consider applying an additional layer of Gel iQ Top Coat after 7 days. Start by cleaning the nails, then apply and cure the top coat as directed.
- The same application and removal techniques apply to toenails.
- Avoid mixing Gel iQ with products from other brands during the treatment.
- To maintain optimal nail health while wearing Gel iQ, regularly use nail oil on your cuticles and under the nail tips.
- Struggling to remove the polish? While most find success with Method 1 using remover oil, those with extremely dry nails might need to resort to Method 2.

Avoid using this product if:
• You’ve experienced allergic reactions to UV/LED-cured nail products in the past.
• You’re sensitive to acrylates, as they may trigger allergic reactions.
• Your cuticles have wounds, cracks, etc., or if your nails are in poor condition (thin, dry, flaky).
• You bite your nails or have short nails that end below the skin on your fingertips.

This product is not suitable for individuals under 16 years of age. Keep out of reach of children.
Do not apply more frequently than once every 14 days.
Avoid skin contact. Ensure the product is applied solely to the nail surface, avoiding surrounding skin and cuticles. If polish contacts the skin or cuticles, gently remove it with Gel iQ Pre-Cleanser on a cotton pad. After curing, wash the skin thoroughly with soap and water to remove any residual products.
In case of eye contact, rinse gently with water for several minutes, remove contact lenses if present, and continue rinsing. Seek medical advice/care if eye irritation persists.
When curing with the UV/LED lamp, always set the timer to 30 seconds. For a 60-second cure, press the 30 sec button once, and when the lamp turns off, press it again. Adhering to the specified curing times is crucial to avoid undercured material, which increases allergy risk and reduces durability.
Allergy information: Contains ingredients that may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Stop using this product if you develop redness or itching. If you experience burning, itching, or swelling during treatment, remove any uncured material with Gel iQ Pre-Cleanser on a cotton pad and wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Consult a doctor if problems persist. Seek medical advice/care if skin irritation or rash occurs after treatment.
Always maintain a safe distance from the cuticle when applying.

How to Use:

Instructions for application of Cat Eye effect as part of the Gel iQ system

1. Cleaning: Apply Gel iQ Pre-Cleanser to a cotton wool pad and thoroughly clean your nails. Allow your nails to dry completely for 30 seconds. Do not touch the nail surface after it has been cleaned.

2. ¤ Base Coat: Apply a thin coat of Gel iQ Base Coat. Cure for 30 seconds under the UV/LED lamp.

3. ¤ Cat Eye: Apply a thin coat of Cat Eye first and cure under the UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds (press the 30-second button twice). Then apply a coat of Cat Eye without curing. NB: You can only do one finger at a time. Use your choice of magnet to create a Cat Eye effect. Hold the magnet as close to the nail as possible without actually touching the polish. Once you are happy with the result, cure for 60 seconds under the LED lamp (press the 30-second button twice) before moving on to the next finger. If you are not happy with the pattern, you can smooth out the polish again with the brush and try again with the magnet. NB: This must be done before curing under the UV/LED lamp. If you get any polish on the magnet, clean it using a little Pre-Cleanser.

4. ¤ Top Coat: Apply a thin coat of Gel iQ Top Coat and cure for 30 seconds under the UV/LED lamp.

5. Cleaning/Top Finishing: The sticky surface that forms on the nail after curing your Top Coat must be removed to achieve optimum shine. Therefore it is important to clean the entire surface of the nail using Gel iQ High Shine Cleanser. Wipe down the surface in one firm motion to remove the sticky surface. You will need at least 12 cotton wool pads to hand.

Method for each nail:
1. Apply plenty of Gel iQ High Shine Cleanser to a cotton wool pad.
2. Place the saturated surface of the pad over the entire nail and wait 5 seconds.
3. With 2 fingers on the pad, press down to ensure even pressure across the surface of the nail. Now wipe from the cuticle to the tip of your nail in one firm motion.
4. Use a fresh, clean pad for each nail and repeat the same process for all your nails.
5. Once all your nails have been cleaned in this way, you can clean them once more with the cleanser. This will bring out the gel’s fantastic colour and shine. Soak the pad with cleanser and clean from cuticle to tip. First wipe down the centre of the nail and then do the left and right sides. Use a fresh, clean pad for each hand.
6. Important: complete the treatment by washing your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Once you have completed all these steps, your hard-wearing, high-shine polish will last for about two weeks.

How to remove Depend Gel iQ
Depending on your nail type and the condition of your nails, you may or may not find it difficult to remove the gel. We have therefore opted to use 2 different removal methods. We recommend, in the first instance, using method 1 to remove the gel. This method works for most nail types. Otherwise we recommend method 2.
Method 1: Gel iQ Remover Oil removes Gel iQ gently using vegetable oil. For this method to work, there must be a certain amount of growth between the cuticle and the gel, which you would naturally have if the gel has been on for two weeks. This method is very gentle on the nail and cuticle, and the special chemistry of this product produces a reaction between the remover oil, the water and the gel.
Method 2: A more traditional removal method. This uses Gel iQ Remover and Gel iQ Removal Wraps Foil to make removal easier.

Removal using Method 1
Products to be used:
Gel iQ Remover Oil
Warm water, about 40 °C
A bowl with a volume of about 2 litres that can comfortably accommodate all the fingers of one hand.
Or use a washbasin.
What to do:
1. Apply plenty of remover oil to the fingers of one hand all along the cuticle and over the whole nail.
2. Massage over each nail for about 20–30 seconds.
3. Fill the bowl or washbasin with water. The temperature should be about 40 °C. NB: Do not scald your fingers.
4. Lower your fingers into the warm water (about 40 °C) so that all the fingers are covered by the water. Wait 3 minutes. The warmer the water, the better the effect.
5. After about 3 minutes, begin to gently scrape the gel away from the area of new growth near the cuticle, using your own fingernail or an orange stick. Keep your hand in the water as you do this. Scrape a little and allow the water to get into the join between the gel and your nail. This will gradually loosen the Gel iQ, enabling you to peel it off in one piece if you follow the instructions properly. It is the reaction between the oil, the gel formula and the water that makes this unique removal method possible.
Important – remember that the water will cool down, and that the water temperature should be about 40 °C to achieve the best results. For that reason, it can be a good idea to change the water or add more warm water during gel removal.
NB: Be gentle, and loosen the gel little by little while keeping your fingers in the water.
Be extra careful when scraping that you don’t take away any of your natural nail as well, especially towards the tip where the nail is driest and can easily break. The gel is often most firmly attached towards the tip of the nail.
6. If you can’t get all of the gel off your nails, repeat with more oil and warm water following the instructions above, until the gel comes off completely.
Repeat the same procedure for the other hand. Finish off by massaging in any excess oil and wipe your hands dry.

Removal using Method 2
Products to be used:
Gel iQ Remover
Gel iQ Removal Wraps Foil
What to do:
While removing the gel, protect the surface where you are sitting with a towel. Make sure there is plenty of ventilation as you work. Do one hand at a time, as it is difficult to work with removal wraps on your hands. It is important to seal the removal wraps up properly, as the remover evaporates rapidly, which means the effect is lost. Leave the wraps sealed up on your other fingers until you are ready to begin scraping the gel away. NB: If you open the wrap too soon before you begin scraping, the remover fluid evaporates, which means the gel will become hard again and be more difficult to remove. To achieve the best results, it is important to ensure that the cotton surface remains saturated with Gel iQ Remover during gel removal.
1. Apply plenty of Gel iQ Remover to the cotton surface of the removal wrap, place it on the nail and then seal the foil up well. Make sure that the saturated cotton surface covers the entire surface of the nail.
2. Wait 15 minutes. NB: The time it takes to work may vary depending on nail type. First open one removal wrap to see if the gel has softened. If the gel has softened all over, start to gently scrape it away using an orange stick. Take care not to damage the nail as you do this. NB: Leave the wraps sealed up on your other fingers until you are ready to begin scraping the gel away. If the gel has not softened, seal the wrap up again and wait a few more minutes. Tip! To speed up the process: gently file the surface of the polish before applying the fluid and wraps. Avoid filing too much or too close to the cuticles.
3. When all the gel has been removed, wash your hands with soap and warm water.
4. Smooth some cuticle cream or oil into your nails and cuticles afterwards.
Warning for Gel iQ Remover: Highly flammable. Use in a well-ventilated area.

Gel iQ Pro Tips!
– Always apply thin coats.
– If your nails are exposed to extreme wear, you can apply an additional coat of Gel iQ Top Coat after 7 days. First clean your nails and then follow the relevant steps for applying and curing the top coat.
– For toenails, use the same application techniques and removal methods as for fingernails.
– Never combine Gel iQ with other brands when applying.
– You can still use nail oil on your cuticles and under your nail tips while you have Gel iQ on your nails.
– Is the gel proving difficult to remove? Method 1 using remover oil will work in most cases, but in some instances, e.g. if you have extremely dry nails, you may need to use method 2.

Do not use this product if:
• You have previously experienced an allergic reaction after using UV/LED-cured nail products.
• You are allergic to acrylates, as these products may cause an allergic reaction.
• Your cuticles are split or damaged, etc. or if your nails are in poor condition (thin, dry or split).
• You bite your nails or have short nails, where the tip of your nail (the top) ends below the skin of your fingertips.

The product is not intended for use by persons under 16 years old. Keep out of the reach of children.
The product is not intended for application more than once every 14 days.
Avoid contact with the skin. Take care to ensure the product is only applied to the surface of the nail and not the surrounding skin or cuticle. If you end up with any on the skin or cuticle, use a cotton wool pad moistened with Gel iQ Pre-Cleanser to gently remove it. Once curing is complete, wash the skin well with soap and water to remove any residue.
Avoid contact with the eyes. If you get any of the product in your eyes, rinse gently with water for several minutes, remove contact lenses (if applicable) and continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, seek medical advice/care.
Curing with the UV/LED lamp: The Gel iQ lamp is preprogrammed for 30 seconds when you press the button once. For a curing time of 60 seconds, press the 30-second button twice. It is essential to always adhere to the times stated in the instructions. A shorter curing time will result in under-cured material and consequently an increased risk of allergy and a less durable finish.
Allergy information: Contains ingredients that may cause an allergic reaction in sensitive individuals. Stop using the product if you experience any redness or itching. If you experience any smarting pain, itching or swelling during the treatment, remove uncured material using a cotton wool pad moistened with Gel iQ Pre-Cleanser, and then wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. If the problems persist, contact a doctor for advice. If any skin irritation or rash occurs after treatment, seek medical advice/care.
When applying products, always leave a decent safety margin around the cuticles.
