    Didn’t remove makeup

    I got this product from the Lumene Advent Calendar. I brought it with me on my trip to remove my makeup in the evening. I noticed it did not! I rubbed my face. Tried to use with and without water but my makeup didn’t “melt off” I had to wash my face about 3 times thoroughly! Super disappointing with the claims of this product! OBS: I do wear a full face of makeup but I do not use cleanser to remove waterproof makeup for ex. Mascara. I am talking about my base makeup only!

However we're sorry to read that this one did not meet your expectations. While this cleanser is designed to gently dissolve makeup and impurities, it may not be powerful enough for heavier or long-wear base makeup on its own. For more thorough removal, especially when wearing a full face, a double cleanse (starting with an oil-based cleanser followed by a gel or cream cleanser) might work better.     Is it suitable for double cleansing?

    I use Lumene's Lähde series sunscreen, and I understand that sunscreens should be double cleansed from the skin. Would this product be suitable for that, and which Lumene cleanser would be good to use additionally? I have dry and sensitive skin, so preferably from the Lähde or Herkkä series ☺️

      Hey Nellie! This cleanser is indeed very gentle and moisturizing for the skin. But if you have a high risk of getting clogged pores or oily skin, it might work best as a first cleanser!     Doesn't clean sufficiently

    I use a relatively normal amount of makeup, but this unfortunately doesn't remove it. My skin stays oily, so it doesn't dry out the skin, but when I use toner, the cotton pad is full of makeup after this product 😒

    Doesn't clean makeup

    This doesn't clean makeup, so it only works as the second product in a double cleansing. It's gentle, but otherwise not as described.

    Helt ok - litt skuffende fra oljerens-kategorien

    Om man liker å bruke veldig "oljete" oljerenser (for eksempel Klairs Gentle Black Cleansing Oil) er denne ganske skuffende. Den er mer melkete enn oljete, og synes ikke den gjør noe særlig god jobb om jeg har sminke som skal fjernes. Som rens er den helt ok og jeg kommer til å bruke den opp, men kjøper nok ikke igjen til meg selv. Ville anbefalt denne til noen som er ny med hudpleie og/eller ikke har store behov, for akkurat den målgruppa tenker jeg den kan treffe svært godt 😌
