Doesn't hold what it promises
Gives a glow at first, but no product that keeps the makeup on for long as promised. Feels both in consistency and smell like a type of hairspray unfortunately. The glow and makeup last about two hours. The bottle is a very pleasant size and easy to take with you - but unfortunately it doesn't hold what it promises otherwise! Good durability but strong scent
I found that the L’Oréal Infaillible 3-Second Setting Mist really helped my makeup last all night. It’s easy to use, and already after application, I noticed that the makeup felt more set. The durability is definitely the product's strongest point. However, the scent is quite strong, and the experience during use is more reminiscent of hairspray than a classic setting spray, which felt a bit unexpected. I also experienced a slight stinging and burning right after application, especially around the eyes, but it went away quickly. Nice finish and dries quickly!
I find that the makeup holds nicely all day with this, it dries quickly and leaves a natural finish that doesn't feel cakey or heavy on the skin. As many others have mentioned, it does have a bit of a smell and feels a little like hairspray. I also feel like quite a bit of product comes out at once, and it's hard to get a lighter, fine mist. If you try to press lightly on the button, it instead becomes a spray. However, I like it overall and would probably buy it again. Amazing performance
Finally, a mist that is fantastic without the high price! First and foremost, the fine and even spray is one of the highlights of the product. You risk no droplets as the mist lays down like a fine invisible film over the face, keeping the makeup in place all day. The thin film is neither visible nor feels like anything and gives a natural finish, meaning neither glowy nor matte. The makeup is not affected by the spray, and if you accidentally powdered a bit too much, it takes care of that too by melting the powder in. I have tested many setting mists in the higher price range, and this one is better than the majority of them. Loreal Paris 3-Second Setting Spray
I have tested the L’Oréal Paris Infaillible 3-Second Setting Mist several times and am overall very satisfied. The mist is finely distributed and feels light on the skin, without leaving a sticky or tight feeling. The makeup sets quickly and stays fresh throughout the day, even after many hours. I find that the base holds better and that the makeup doesn’t transfer as easily. The scent is relatively neutral and disappears quickly. The packaging is convenient and easy to use. A big plus is that it doesn’t disturb the makeup or leave stains. An affordable setting spray that delivers good results. Sustainable
The product lives up to its promise of being sustainable. I feel that the sensation on the skin becomes a bit tight, as if one has used hairspray. I think it lasts long and looks nice, but considering the strong scent and my skin, which can sometimes be a bit sensitive, it probably isn't suitable for everyday use. I find that my skin feels a bit drier after using it, so for everyday use, it might be a bit too powerful for my skin type. But otherwise, it is really a good product; I just need to remember to moisturize more afterwards for my part. I recommend this setting spray, it keeps the makeup in place in a surprisingly good way! The formula feels like a light and more watery hairspray and is pleasant on the skin. It smells good, but if you have sensitive eyes, the scent can be too strong, hence 4/5 stars. Top picture before, bottom picture after 12 hours (Despite having a cold, the makeup on the nose looks almost untouched). Good, budget-friendly setting spray!
I think L’Oréal Paris Infaillible 3-Second Setting Mist is a good and budget-friendly setting spray. It’s easy to use, dries quickly, and helps makeup stay better throughout the day. The spray is nice and applies evenly without feeling heavy on the skin. The scent is quite strong and reminds me a bit of hairspray; personally, I like that scent, so I haven’t had any issues. The longevity is good for everyday use, but I don’t think it has kept the makeup “perfect” for a whole workday. However, I’ve only applied one layer, so it might be better if you apply more. Would really like this!
I got to test this setting spray for free and it was perfect since I wanted to try it. But no, it really doesn't live up to expectations unfortunately. - Smells and feels like a hairspray (even gets hard in the hair and the scent lingers) - Can pull on the face after I've had it on and the makeup unfortunately follows (I have combination skin) - Dries quickly, which is both + and - but then you can't really "press" it into the skin like with other slightly softer setting sprays. + As mentioned, dries quickly + Keeps the makeup in place if you don't have very oily skin, I actually did a test on my hand and it really stayed there! Unfortunately not a product I will buy again as it doesn't suit my combination/oily skin. And also because of the scent. Radiant product
After using this product daily for about a week, I can say that I am very positively surprised. It has quickly found a natural place in my makeup routine. The spray distributes evenly in a very fine cloud and feels light on the skin, which makes it dry almost immediately. My makeup often lasts over 12 hours, and even when it's time to wash it off, the result still looks fresh and newly applied. The only small downside is that the scent and feel upon application remind me a bit of hairspray. Fortunately, this quickly disappears once the product has dried and does not affect the final result. Sits like a charm!
I have now had the chance to test this for a week and I am satisfied! This mist has become a favorite in my makeup routine! The mist is finely distributed and is thin, which makes it dry in just a few seconds. I usually have my makeup on for at least 12 hours, and when I finally take it off, it looks like I just applied it! One downside to this is that it smells a bit like hairspray in scent and consistency. However, I think these disappear once it has dried!
