Not for makeup removal
I thought the product would be good for removing makeup because it is oil, but how wrong I was 😆. The product is also thick in its consistency (if that makes sense), so it still needs to be washed off with a water-based cleansing product. How can there be unpleasant surprises.... pimples. I have acne-prone dry skin and I notice that the bottle is still almost full even though I have had it for about 3 months. It probably removes sunscreen from the skin, but I don't fully trust it. Because I really have to work to remove my it cosmetics cc cream. There is no strong scent in it. Something good, it has a good pump. I would say if you are looking for an oil-based product or oil for double cleansing, this is worth trying. But for example, waterproof mascara or other very long-lasting products, it does not wash off. So totally okay/mhjäh, but I do not recommend 😆 #lykoreview19415 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. 🫧🤍 A cleansing oil I really like!
I’ve really gotten hooked on this cleansing oil from Beauty of Joseon! What I like most is how easy it makes the evening routine when I have makeup and sunscreen to remove. I think it’s so nice to start with an oil instead of having to rub and fuss a lot. I usually pump some into dry hands and massage it onto dry skin. It’s almost a bit therapeutic to stand and massage the face for a while and watch the makeup start to dissolve. 😂🤍 Then I add a little water and rinse off before moving on to a water-based cleanser. The texture is a bit richer than I first expected, but I actually think it works well when massaging it in. It doesn’t feel like a thin oil that just runs away between your fingers, but you really get some control over the application. What I like most is the feeling after double cleansing. The skin feels clean and fresh but still soft, instead of tight and dry like I sometimes feel after cleansing. ✨ The pump bottle is also a big plus. I really like when you can just pump out 1-2 presses and avoid dealing with caps and bottles that get oily everywhere. The scent is quite subtle but I still think it gives the whole cleansing a cozier feeling. It almost becomes a little evening ritual rather than just something you have to do quickly. For me, this is above all a really good first cleanse in a double cleansing routine. Left a film
Unfortunately, this one wasn’t for me. I felt like I got more pimples from it and that the texture was way too thick, which caused it to leave a film on my skin even after a water-based cleansing. It removed makeup well but left a film on my eyes, making my vision blurry for quite a while afterward, something I’ve only experienced with heavy oil cleansers. I have tried so many different facial cleansers that haven't helped or have been bad for my skin. I've always had problems with blackheads, and this product has actually helped a lot. The pores are still there, but they are significantly smaller than they have ever been. A really good product! Leaves the skin very moisturized too, so a big +1712 views
