    Always a go-to

I have combination, acne-prone skin with a tendency to redness. I've tried many moisturizers but this one is always a safe choice. It provides lovely moisture, a cooling sensation, and is soothing for sensitive skin. I like that it’s quite neutral without trying to do anything other than hydrate the skin. I find that many moisturizers promise big changes and have many active ingredients that can irritate. This one is a choice I come back to when my skin can’t tolerate much but still needs lots of moisture. It’s light while still being moisturizing, but it can be a bit heavy during periods when my skin is very oily. Since I have combination skin, I think it provides sufficient moisture both to the T-zone and also to the drier areas. The difference between this and the moist version is that this one is thin, gel-like, and provides moisture that absorbs quickly into the skin and gives a nice glow, while the other is cream-like and sits more like a layer on top of the skin and locks in moisture longer.

    ingredients

I want this cream, but the ingredient list for the same product on utseende.no and Lyko's site are different. Why?

Hi Nafisah šŸ‘‹ It is common for ingredient lists to vary between online stores for several reasons: the manufacturer may have reformulated the product or changed the batch, different markets may have slight differences in the declaration. The ingredient list on the actual packaging is always the final authority — the website is updated continuously but may lag behind during reformulations šŸ’ž I checked with our warehouse, and it looks like the formulation we currently have is this one šŸ‘‡ Aqua, Methylpropanediol, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Glycerin, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Trehalose, Betaine, Phenyl Trimethicone, Isostearyl Alcohol, Butylene Glycol Cocoate, Hydrogenated Olive Oil Unsaponifiables, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, Sodium Hyaluronate, Butylene Glycol, Sodium PCA, Allantoin, Pentylene Glycol, Ethylcellulose, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Xanthan Gum, Squalane, Propanediol, Centella Asiatica Extract, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Polygonum Cuspidatum Root Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate Have a great day!

Hi Malin! 🄰 It looks like this one was a bit too strong for your skin, which is really unfortunate! 🧔 Luckily, your boyfriend likes it, so it will still be put to good use. I hope you find something else that suits you better if you don’t already have a favorite. Feel free to email us at fraga@lyko.com if you want tips and advice šŸ“§

    Terrible experience

This product irritated my skin terribly, never experienced anything like it before. I have dry/dehydrated skin but have had good experiences with gel creams before. This cream felt good when applied, gave a glow, but after just a short while, my skin felt tight and dry, and in the mornings when I woke up, I had visible surface dryness and everything itched. Even my eyes itched even though I hadn’t applied anything there. I think the product totally ruined my skin barrier because I still have problems and can’t use any active substances without it stinging, even though it’s been a long time since I stopped using it. As I said, never experienced anything like this and I still use their watery sunscreen without problems, so I don’t understand at all what caused this. Has anyone else experienced the same?

Hello Elsa šŸ‘‹šŸŒø Thank you for sharing your experience. It really sounds like your skin reacted strongly, and we understand that it feels both frustrating and uncomfortable, especially since you have had good experiences with similar products before šŸ’› Skincare works very differently from person to person, and even products that many like can cause irritation for some. I hope your skin feels better soon and recovers well ✨ If you have any questions or concerns going forward, you are of course warmly welcome to contact us, we are happy to help 🄰

    Trusted product

I think it's an absolutely amazing face cream! I've used many jars over the years. Really good for dry combination skin. Also fits perfectly under makeup :)

    Good

Pretty good, nothing special. If you have dry skin, maybe a bit too light.

    Light and moisturizing

A light and moisturizing cream, but it is not enough on its own if you have dry skin, should be combined with other products. It also gives a nice glow!

    Easily absorbed and light

The cream version was sold out, so I tried this one. I was a bit disappointed because it’s my favorite, and the gel didn’t moisturize nearly as much. The gel cream might work better for more oily or combination skin.
