Incredible Waves
I love this! I get so many compliments when I use this! Tip from me as a hairstylist, set it to 180 degrees. Use heat protection in your hair! If you have pretty straight hair where the styling tends to fall out, try Grazette anti humidity spray which also has a light hold in it 😍Translated from swedish

Pretty Waves
It took a number of attempts before I came to terms with this curling iron, but now it has become a favorite. The iron is big. Like really big. And quite heavy. The little foldable stand (a metal bracket) that it’s supposed to rest on during heating isn’t particularly good at its job. It feels unstable and is also quite tricky to get it to work when you set the iron down in between. I solved it by getting one of those silicone mats that protect the surface instead, so that little concern was out of the world. With its weight, the iron feels solid and well-built. The coating is smooth and shows no signs of wear after a few months of use. The clamp function is easy to operate with the thumb, but at the same time firm enough to hold the hair in place. I also find that it heats up quickly and maintains an even temperature during use. The result then? I of course followed the instructions to the letter, at least the first few times. In the mirror, I saw how I transformed into something of a movie star. Or yeah, I mostly looked like Selma Bouvier, you know, Marge Simpson's one sister. It turned out to be way too much volume in my already thick hair, and the hairstyle grew kind of upward, outward. Not at all the relaxed bohemian look I had imagined. After the iron had a couple of weeks to ponder its sins, I decided to try again. This time something rebellious awoke within me, and I decided to start by curling the hair from the ends up, and simply leave about a decimeter closest to the scalp untouched. Bingo! Now I get exactly the waves I imagined, and it even goes relatively quickly. I’m of course careful with heat protection, work with the hair in sections, finish with some kind of texture spray, and am careful not to touch the hair the first half hour after I’m done. If I follow this procedure, I’m rewarded with fabulous waves on day 1, followed by softer and softer waves in the next 2 days. By day 3, the hair has almost completely relaxed, but still has a bit of movement in it and is just perfect for a half-updo before it’s time to wash. #lykoreviewTranslated from swedish

Use:
Step 1. Hair should be clean, dry and free of tangles before using. Rest the iron on its stand on a smooth, heat-resistant flat surface, and plug it in. Press and hold the ON/OFF button until the unit turns on and the ‘ON’ indicator lights up. Adjust the temperature using the left and right buttons to reach your desired heat. For healthier styling we suggest using 180°C/360°F heat setting unless you have very course/thick hair.
Step 2. The key to long lasting, lush waves is prepping your hair correctly. You want to inject your hair with a heat protectant and contour spray, like our Mermade Mist, which will protect your strands from heat and give your hair extra hold.
Step 3. Start by dividing hair into sections with our Grip Clips. Smaller sections will create more defined waves. Taking one section at a time, start at the top close to the roots and clamp the hair, making sure that the hair is evenly placed inside the barrels. Be careful not to touch the scalp with the tool. Hold for 2-5 seconds. Hold for less time if hair is easy to curl, or if you want less defined waves. Once you have released your first clamp, re-clamp the top barrel of the waver on to the last wave bend. You want to overlap each wave with your waver to create a seamless wave from roots to ends. Repeat this process through to the ends over the whole head.
Step 4. Once you have finished waving, make sure the hair has completely cooled down before touching to allow it time to set. For a beachy effortless wave, brush the wave out with our Mermade Brush or comb through. Finish by using an extra spray of Mermade Mist for hold and shine, or a flexible workable spray or a lacquer spray for more hold.
Step 5. To turn off, press and hold down the power off button until it reads ‘OFF’. For your safety, the tool will auto shut-off after 60 minutes. Allow tool to cool down completely before stowing away. Make sure to wipe down the tool after use to avoid product build up on tool.
