Cool ash blonde but not gray

Which of these is most similar to the old ash blonde? How dark is the ash brown? If I want ash blonde with a bit of light brown and not just gray, which one should I choose?

Hey Carina! ☀️ Cool silver ash is most like the old ash blonde 🩶lyko.com/sv/ref/ref.-colour-boost-platinum-blonde-200-ml Since this is a color pack that primarily preserves and enhances an already colored shade, I recommend that you instead use a toner to achieve exactly the result you desire. To better guide you correctly, I recommend that you take our hair color test 🥰 👉🏼 lyko.com/sv/beauty-scan Have a nice day 🌸

    Is the sand blonde cool?

I miss their ash blonde color pack. Is the sand blonde similar? I want a cool color.

Hey Carina! 🤠 Sandy Blonde gives a warm, sandy blonde shade. If you want a cool, ash blonde tone, I recommend you try Cool Silver Ash instead, which is specifically designed for cool, ashy shades 💜 You can find it here 👉🏼 lyko.com/sv/ref/ref.-colour-boost-cool-silver-ash-200-ml Have a nice day ☀️

    Disappointed

So hard to find an Ash Brown color treatment, so I was so happy when I saw this. Luckily, I only tested it on one strand recently for 3 minutes and it turned completely purple 😭 doesn't seem to have any brown pigments in it. It looks like silver shampoo, the same purple color that my hair also turned. It smells good at least.

Hi Viktoria! 🥰 There are a few different reasons why hair can turn purple: If the hair is too light, bleached, or porous (e.g., light blonde or previously stripped), the cool pigments in Ash Brown (blue and violet undertones) can come through much stronger than expected – resulting in a purple/blue tone. Damaged or porous hair absorbs pigment unevenly, which can lead to patches or unexpected tones – like purple in certain areas. If you want help looking into what happened here when your hair turned purple, you can either email our hairdressers at frisoren@lyko.com 📧 or take our hair color test that you can find in the Lyko app under the Search function - BeautyScan, so our hairdressers can help you find the right product for your hair and desired result ❤ Have a nice day 🌞
