Fantastic product, terrible ingredients ⚠️
A great product that really gives an even result but contains Methylisothiazolinone and Methylchloroisothiazolinone, which are known to be highly allergenic. I get burning hives all over my body every time I use it. Incredibly disappointed that a brand like ref, which is supposed to stand for quality, still uses such ingredients that most other brands phased out long ago.1 product in post Fantastic product, terrible ingredients ⚠️40 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 3 daysHey Alice! 👋🏻😃 Thank you for sharing your experience. We have double-checked and see that the REF Colour Boost Masque Cool Chocolate actually contains both Methylisothiazolinone (MI) and Methylchloroisothiazolinone (MCI) 💫 If you experience reactions like heat and hives, it’s important to stop using the product immediately. For us to investigate this properly, we recommend that you submit a complaint via My Pages or the Lyko app. There you can attach pictures and details about when the reaction started and which other products you were using at the same time 💕 Hope the irritation subsides quickly! 🌼

A product that deserves recognition
I would have never dared to buy this product if I had read the reviews beforehand. So it was lucky that I didn't do that! However, I think the product is a bit mis-marketed. The product has a bluish tone and is therefore really good at removing orange-ish tones in blonde hair, but NOT yellow. If you want icy platinum hair, you need to combine this with a purple conditioner. Either by mixing them or doing every other wash. If you do that, you'll get super nice icy blonde hair.1 product in post A product that deserves recognition347 views- The comment was made 8 monthsDay before + after white platinum + regular silver/purple conditioner

Good in theory, but hopeless execution
I really like the thin tip for painting french tips. But the formula of the polish is hopeless, no matter how carefully you paint, it becomes thick, streaky, and clumpy. Hoping for a reformulation1 product in post Good in theory, but hopeless execution442 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 yearHello there Alice 👋🏻😊 So sad that it didn't live up to expectations! ❤️🙈 The thin tip sounds perfect for precision, but we understand that the formula can make application tricky. One tip could be to try an extra thin layer and let it dry properly between applications. 🤍💅 We're keeping our fingers crossed for a future updated formula! Thank you for your feedback – it is worth its weight in gold. ✨😊
