Extremely moisturizing but thick!! 🩷
I've been using this hair mask for a while, as stated in the description, it's recommended for dry, low porosity, and coarse hair (2a-4c). I naturally have 2a/2b but fine/medium thick hair. But I felt that this was still too "thick" for my hair. It was very moisturizing and nourishing. However, it felt like it weighed my hair down a bit! Works great to use as a conditioner. Another downside is that I'm not really fond of the scent. If you have hair that can handle heavy products or with coarser texture, then this is gold! 💙 A real moisture bomb for the hair!
I have really gotten hooked on this hair mask! The first thing I notice is how incredibly soft the hair feels after use. It becomes almost ridiculously smooth when rinsing it out, and I can really feel the difference when I then brush my hair. 🥹 I think the texture is quite rich and creamy, so I don’t need to use much to get the mask properly into the lengths. I usually let it sit for a few minutes while I do other things in the shower and then rinse it out thoroughly. Afterwards, the hair feels much more moisturized and supple. I especially like that the lengths feel soft without me having to use a bunch of other products to get that feeling. It also becomes easier to detangle the hair, which is always a big plus for me. And the scent! 😍 I really think it gives the whole shower a slightly more luxurious feel. It has a warm and sweet scent that I personally think goes very well with the feeling of a truly nourishing hair mask. The only thing I would say is that it is quite rich, so I really think you benefit from starting with a smaller amount. If I take too much, it easily feels like the hair gets more product than it actually needs. For me, this is the kind of mask I like to use when my hair feels dry and needs a little extra love. Old product?
Bought this treatment after all the great reviews and also saw that many mentioned the fantastic scent. My product had a faint coconut scent, but the dominant smell was "the container." I have curly hair, but I prefer to straighten it. It gets dry here and there, and this mask is perfect. My hair becomes very soft and easy to comb through, and the product is very thick so you don't need to use much.
