    Does what it promises!

    A good flat iron that is smooth to use and transforms my wavy hair to pin straight in a couple of minutes. Also nice design and an extra plus that it shuts off by itself after a while so you don't have to leave home and be worried! I always use it together with heat protection from GHD. But even though I am satisfied with the flat iron and it works well, I might have expected a liiitle more considering the price. Now I have also had it for just over two years and feel that it has already become a bit worn, takes a little longer to straighten, etc. Ps, it works great for curling hair too! I never do it myself as I prefer straight hair on me, but I have lent it to friends who have curled with it and it turned out super pretty! #lykomission

    Pretty okay

    Actually very disappointed. Hard to get curls. But practice makes perfect, I guess. But when you finally get the curls, they don't hold at all all day. It straightens my hair pretty okay, but I expected better results considering the price. The good thing is that it "improves" my hair quality at least. The hair gets a bit shinier.

    Holds for max 2-3 years

    Unfortunately, it doesn't hold up, I've had it since November 2022 and already in summer 2024 it started beeping and shutting off by itself, then I managed to get it going again after it happened very sporadically. But now it has completely given up, it just beeped and stopped. I've had straighteners from significantly cheaper brands that have lasted for several years without any problems! Unfortunately, my warranty has expired now, so I will have to buy a new straightener. Apparently, this is a common problem with platinum+. So annoying since I've heard so many good things about Ghd! I've heard in hindsight that Original is supposed to be better. Otherwise, it was good when it worked.

      Same for me! But after 2.5 years I still had warranty. My old Ghd IV Styler lasted over 8 years..
