The Salicylic Purifying Gentle Cleanser has become a cleansing product that I really enjoy using. It feels gentle on the skin but still does a great job of deep cleaning. I like that it contains salicylic acid, as my skin feels cleaner and my pores less clogged without becoming dry or irritated. It lathers easily, feels pleasant on the skin, and is perfect for daily use. After cleansing, my face feels fresh, balanced, and calm. A good budget facial cleanser
Garnier PureActive salicylic purifying gentle cleanser is very easy to use, the pump on the packaging is easy to press down and dispense a good amount of product, this cleanser is very easy to work with, it has a very watery consistency and lathers up easily. The cleanser has a medium scent, the cleanser is not very concentrated, you have to use quite a bit of product to clean your face. I use quite a bit of makeup, and this does not remove makeup in one wash. Neither lipstick, water-based eyeliner, eyebrow pencil, nor kajal, nor do I feel the foundation is removed, but you have to try to wash twice to get most of it off. I found that my skin did not dry out after use, but it required several washes before my skin felt clean and fresh. 💁🏻♀️I am 34 years old with oily and acne-prone skin that uses a lot of makeup every day, I feel that this product was not for me. Fragrance-free - has a strong scent.
At first, the product felt completely okay, and my skin felt okay after use. But I can't agree that it's fragrance-free since it has a strong cleaning scent. Salicylic acid is supposed to work deeply to reduce pores. My result is that I've gotten more pimples than I had before, therefore I will not continue to use the product and will go back to my previous cleanser, which is also for acne-prone skin. Positively Surprised
When I tested this cleanser, I really noticed a difference. The fact that it contains salicylic acid makes it work deeply to reduce pores. This has made me notice a difference in my pores while also being very pleasant to use. It creates a lovely lather and I find that it doesn't make my skin feel tight afterwards, which is a big plus. Great cleansing for a great price! I really feel that my skin feels deep clean without feeling too "harsh" on the skin. The salicylic acid helps keep impurities at bay. After use, my skin feels fresh, soft, and clear. Perfect for those with combination to oily skin who want an effective yet gentle cleansing. I think it’s enough to use this only in the evening if you’re a bit dry, and follow up with moisturizing products.
