Ruined my clothes
Made my clothes stained, bought another one to try to save the clothes but it didn't work. Even when they were in the recommended material.Translated from swedish
1 product in post Ruined my clothes49 views- Customer service at Lyko5 daysHey Emilia! 🌸 I understand that you used it according to the instructions with the amount of clothes and materials, so it's a shame that it didn't turn out well 🧡 What could have caused a blotchy result could be: 🌀 Uneven distribution in the washing machine If the garment can't move freely or if the dye isn't mixed properly, it can cause blotches. Ideally, wash a maximum of 1.5 kg of fabric at a time. 💧 Uneven moisture in the fabric at the start 🧼 Detergent residues or stains before dyeing Grease or detergent residues can interfere with dye absorption. Always wash the garment thoroughly before dyeing, without fabric softener. 👕 Different materials in the garment Mixed materials (e.g., cotton + polyester) absorb dye differently. This often results in a somewhat uneven outcome. 🧽 Stains in the washing machine Old detergent residues or limescale deposits in the drum can affect how the dye spreads. I hope this can help if you dye them again ❤

Great yellow color!
Used the color sunflower yellow to dye two cotton sweaters that had started to fade. The result turned out really well! We have previously refreshed cotton clothes with orange and purple (deep violet) and have also been very satisfied with those. To achieve a good result, it is important to follow the instructions carefully. Some may find that there is a lot of color left in the washing machine after dyeing, but it goes away if you follow the instructions for cleaning the machine.Translated from norwegian

Velvet
Is it possible to dye white velvet curtains with this?Translated from swedish
1 product in post Velvet458 views- Customer service at Lyko3 weeksHey Mimmi!💗 Dylon All-in-1 dye works well on white velvet curtains if they are made of natural materials like cotton or linen. If the curtains contain synthetic fibers like polyester, the result may be uneven or weak. Check the material before dyeing!🫧 Take care!💗2 likes

Blue/Gray
Did not turn black.Translated from norwegian
1 product in post Blue/Gray1014 views- Customer service at Lyko1 monthHi there 💌 Thanks for the feedback – that was really boring! 🙁 When it comes to the color, it can look a bit different on different types of fabrics. This is because the structure and material of the textile can affect how the color is reflected in the light. For example, a smooth fabric can give a more intense color, while a matte or coarser fabric can make the color look a bit different. We really appreciate you sharing your feedback, and have a great day ahead! 🌸1 likes

Question
Can you dye blue jeans to a gray color with any of these? Which one if so?Translated from swedish
1 product in post Question1928 views- Customer service at Lyko3 monthsHey Maryam 😊🤍 If you want a gray color, you can check out the shade Smoke Grey 😊 The result depends a bit on how dark blue your jeans are. First, double-check what material your jeans are made of. This product is suitable for natural fibers (cotton, linen, and viscose). Blends with polyester/cotton and polyester/viscose will get a lighter shade. The color is not suitable for synthetic fibers (polyester, acrylic, nylon) and fabrics that have been specially treated. Good luck 🤗

Dylonall-in-1 textilfärg 08 Navy Blue
Dylon all-in-1 fabric dye for machine use is the fun, creative, and eco-friendly way to refresh your wardrobe while saving some cash and being kind to the planet. With Dylon's new All-in-1 fabric dye range, you can easily transform your old clothes into something vibrant and new. Just peel off the top strip and remove the plastic casing, pop the capsule into your washing machine, and voilà – a colorful makeover awaits! Say goodbye to boring bed linens, jeans, and t-shirts! Instructions are included. Each pack contains 350 g.
Pre-wash your item and place it damp in the machine, then run a normal cycle with a water level of 30–40 °C (40 °C will give you a darker shade). These fabric dyes are optimized for cotton, linen, and viscose textiles. If your item is a blend with polyester, expect a lighter color.
One capsule is enough for 600 g of fabric for maximum dyeing, and up to 1800 g for a less intense color. No need to add salt; it’s already included. If you want to dye a lot at once, you can use up to 5 capsules together. Just make sure not to overload the washing machine – overfilling can lead to patchy or uneven results.
The color chart shows results on white fabric, so keep in mind that the original color will always affect the outcome. For example, a dark gray or black t-shirt will never turn yellow or orange.
After dyeing, run two empty washes with detergent to clean the machine. Also, check rubber seals and wipe them down.
Never dye wool, silk, 100% synthetic materials, items with nylon stitching, or fabrics that require dry cleaning.
Textiles that have been treated or impregnated should also not be dyed, as the results can be very uneven and unsatisfactory.
After dyeing, wash the textiles separately 1-2 times at a max of 40 °C.
Navy blue.
