Disappointed
Love the leave-in spray from the same brand, and now that I needed to buy new shampoo and conditioner, I tried this. But honestly, not sure if I got the right products? My hair is SO greasy before itās even completely dry! It separates into sections like when hair hasnāt been washed for more than a weekā¦ Much worse than before (and itās been almost a week since I washed it) and I double shampoo and use conditioner on the lengths. At first, I thought I hadnāt rinsed out all the conditioner, so I washed my hair again and spent 5 minutes rinsing out the conditioner, and still my hair is extremely greasy right after? It's unfortunate that the products didn't work as you had hoped, especially since you've had such good experiences with the leave-in spray from the same series š Hydra Rush is designed to provide a lot of moisture to dry hair, but if your hair is finer or tends to get oily easily, it can sometimes feel a bit too rich and weigh the hair down. It sounds like you have used the products correctly, so it might simply be that this series doesn't suit your hair type as well as, for example, REF or Lanza have. Hair reacts very differently to moisturizing products, and sometimes a shampoo that works wonderfully for one person can have the opposite effect for another. For some hair types ā especially finer or lighter hair ā it can feel like the hair quickly becomes weighed down or āover-saturated,ā which can give a greasy feeling even though the hair is actually clean. So it often comes down to how much product the hair can absorb š¤ A tip is to try a much smaller amount of conditioner and only apply it to the lengths and ends, and rinse extra thoroughly. In some cases, it can also help to alternate with a lighter conditioner depending on how the hair feels from day to day. Thank you for sharing your experience š I understand it feels disappointing if your hair didnāt turn out as you expected after washing. Without knowing your exact hair type, it might be that more moisturizing products can feel a bit "heavy" for some hair types, especially if you have finer or thinner strands. I have thin strands myself and notice that moisturizing shampoos can sometimes weigh hair down and make it feel greasy faster š Hair can react very differently to products, so sometimes itās simply about finding the right balance for your specific hair.
