    Great package - if a little prone to fallout

    This palette a very focussed idea with maybe two or three variations, but therein lies its power. The purple is amazing, and I also greatly appreciate the gold and silver tones that are very sheer and help highlight the eyelid once you’ve done contouring the edges with the more natural shades. Apply with care as the formulas fallout more than I’d like. Setting spray is essential. Love the mirror and solid metal case - one of these pics was done on a moving train and I was very happy to step off already glammed up.

    And important makeup step

    A good setting spray will make the difference between an all day eye shadow that holds, and one that deteriorates to panda eyes. Pictured here is me at the end of a long day (including a trip to IKEA) - looking just like I did when I left the house. BTW This look takes me 15 minutes to achieve.

    Very controllable (4/5)

    The consistency is very similar to IsaDora Perfect Contour Kajal, except that (a) it’s in a retractor pencil that never needs sharpening (keeping width consistent), and (b) it comes with it’s own smudging brush that gets better with use. I just wish the nib could be a little narrower.

    Works under the right circumstances

    I use it to hide the dark bags under my eyes, and sometimes as a primer if I’m applying eye shadow. You have to work it in gentally with your finger tips until the transition to the outer edges disappears. Avoid getting any in you eye brows. I can see why people might struggle to get it under control when they first try it. It’s not like a BB cream or liquid foundation.
