Disappointing!
Was tempted to try the product because of all the hype at launch. Really disappointed after trying both shampoo and conditioner for a couple of weeks. Scalp itches, and hair feels porous and static. Shampoo is not economical as I have to pump 7-8 times to get enough product. Doesn't lather and is hard to work with. Hair and scalp react very individually to different products, and unfortunately it sounds like this one was not the right match for you. Regarding the shampoo, it is formulated to produce less foam than many traditional shampoos, which can make it feel different to use. A little tip, which you may have already tried, is to apply it to very wet hair and massage in a bit of extra water along the way. Some also find that a double wash gives a better feeling and more foam the second time. Products with protein, like rice protein, can for some give a slightly more “stiff” or dry result if the hair at the same time needs more moisture or a different type of care balance. I was drawn in by all the hype this product gets. Just nonsense!
I used another eyelash serum over time as the "before" picture shows. After several years with extensions, there weren't many lashes left. I thought I would try Nude's eyelash serum since it got good reviews. The "after" picture shows my lashes after 3 months of using Nude's eyelash serum. It sounds like you've been very good with serum use over a long time, but unfortunately, you haven't gotten the results you hoped for with the Nude serum. It's a shame that this didn't work for you, and I completely understand the frustration — especially after having had eyelash extensions and thus reduced eyelash growth from before. Eyelash serums affect everyone differently, and it's not guaranteed that one product works for everyone. For you, it might be better to look for a serum with a different active ingredient or a stronger formula that has documented effects on growth.
