Hi, I used this product for Christmas, but I'm experiencing that the top electrodes are not emitting any «current/vibrations». Is this normal or could it be a defect?

The Silk’n LED EMS Face Mask works through direct skin contact. Especially the EMS function (electrical muscle stimulation) requires that the electrodes have even and good contact with the skin for the impulses to be felt equally. The LED light also works best when the mask sits snugly against the skin.
When you notice that there is less or no “current/tingling” in the upper electrodes, it is often due to:
– the mask not sitting completely snug against the skin in this area
– the skin contact being weaker right there
– small differences in face shape or how the straps are tightened
You can try this first:
– Adjust the straps so that the mask sits evenly and snugly, especially at the top of the face
– Use the mask on clean and completely dry skin, without cream or serum
– Start at a low EMS strength and only increase when the mask is sitting correctly
– Pay extra attention to ensure that the area under the eyes/forehead has good contact
If after this you still experience that the upper electrodes do not give any sensation at all – even when the mask is sitting well – there may be a fault with the product.
