Hey Petra!
So lovely that you’re already using both retinal and niacinamide – two superheroes for skin tone and texture 💛 And yes, Theramid Azid Azelaic Acid 15% can absolutely be a great complement!
Azelaic acid is a well-studied ingredient when it comes to reducing the visibility of melasma, dark spots, and redness. It has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial properties and helps to even out skin tone – without being too strong for sensitive skin 👌
A few things to keep in mind 👇
Don’t use it at the same time as retinal – for example, use azelaic acid in the morning and retinal in the evening
SPF every day is a must ☀️ – especially with melasma and when you’re actively working with active ingredients
Start gently, 2–3 times/week, and gradually increase
Take care ✨
