Works fine for a month or two. Then the bristles start falling out of the brush and it becomes a bit sharp. Also easy to scratch yourself on the casing that is supposed to enclose the bristles. Maybe there are too few bristles compared to the size of the casing.

Sorry to hear that the brush hasn't lived up to expectations after some use and that you've experienced bristles coming loose and the casing feeling sharp.
A tip for best durability is to wash the brush regularly with mild soap, avoid wetting the metal ferrule, gently squeeze out excess water, and let it dry flat or with the bristles facing downward.
