Hello! Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience! This tinted sunscreen is designed to give a natural, radiant finish with light coverage. On oily skin, such a 'glowy' finish can indeed look too shiny, and the coverage is intentionally a bit more transparent – more 'your skin but better' than a foundation.
Do you still want to use it? Here are some tips to reduce shine: apply a thin layer and skip a rich day cream, or use a light gel cream. A mattifying primer on the T-zone can also help, and set with a transparent, mattifying powder or blotting papers.
Are you looking for something that is naturally matte or offers more coverage? A matte SPF without tint, like Eucerin Oil Control Sun Gel-Cream SPF50+, is ideal for oily skin. For more coverage, the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless could be a good option.
Hopefully, this helps you (and others with oily skin) achieve a more matte result that stays fresh longer! 🌞
