Hello! 💛
I really understand that it must have felt both uncomfortable and concerning when the hair started smoking during the treatment!.
When that happens, it’s often a sign that the hair has been particularly sensitive or already treated in some way before, and then the bleaching can react more strongly than expected. It can be due to the hair being recently colored, bleached, styled with heat, or coming into contact with other products that affect the result. Then the hair can become overloaded, which is sometimes noticeable in the form of frizz, smell, or even smoke.
We always recommend doing a test on a small strand of hair before treatment, just to ensure how the hair reacts – especially if it has been exposed to other chemical treatments before 🙏
Your experience is of course important to us. If you purchased it from us, you can register a complaint via My Pages - Order History - Claim, so we can help you look further into the cause of what happened. Please feel free to send in a picture of the product's batch and the hair if you have the opportunity.
Have a really great day ❤
