Luxurious product - unsure what it actually does
I have tested Redken Acidic Grow Full System Scalp & Hair Serum for Thin or Flat Hair for almost a month, and I’m not quite sure what I think about the product. It smells just as good as the other products in the series – but I understand that some find the scent too strong – but I appreciate it. It applies very easily to the scalp and has a watery consistency – which means it’s not noticeable once dried. I don’t think I’ve tested it long enough to know what it does over time, but unfortunately, I don’t feel any significant difference in how my scalp feels. It adds a bit of luxury to my hair care routine and makes you treat yourself to a little extra scalp massage – which in itself is good! However, I don’t know if I would buy it/pay money for it. The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the tester received the product for free.1 product in post Luxurious product - unsure what it actually does75 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 2 out of 5
Hair feels more damaged than full
I have tested Redken Acidic Grow Full System Instant Densifying Spray for Thin Hair for almost a month, and I’m not quite sure what I think about the product. It smells nice, and I spray it in my hair (when it’s towel-dry). It’s easy to brush the product through the hair, but once dry, the hair becomes very stiff and feels almost more damaged than “voluminous.” However, I haven’t tested enough to maybe find the right amount, etc., to both achieve volume/full hair – while also making it look rich and thick. The price feels a bit high for the product. Nice, nourishing and thick conditioner
I have tested Redken Acidic Grow Full System Densifying Conditioner for almost a month and I am satisfied. It is very thick in consistency, which makes it feel like the hair is properly moisturized and cared for. It smells good, does the job, and I really have nothing to complain about. It feels quite economical and you don’t need to use much each time. I mostly also use a hair mask when washing my hair (especially since the shampoo in the same series makes the hair very dry). However, I haven’t tested enough to know how nourishing and good it really is; I don’t really notice a big difference in the result when I compare it to other conditioners I’ve used in a lower price range. The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the test pilot got to try the product for free.1 product in post Nice, nourishing and thick conditioner61 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 3 out of 5
Good, but not worth the price
I have tested Redken Acidic Grow Full System Shampoo for almost a month and I am satisfied. It lathers well, smells nice, and does the job – but I find it’s not as concentrated as other shampoos in the same price range. The hair also becomes very dry, so the need for a really good hair mask is preferred afterwards (the conditioner in the same series works, but I also like to use a mask). For what it does to the hair, I am satisfied – but I expected something more. (NOTE; the packaging was extremely tight the first time I tried to open it, so I cut my entire thumb with the lid – so be careful). The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the tester received the product free of charge.1 product in post Good, but not worth the price61 views
