Haven't tried any other glue because this one is so good😍 I do gel nails with Depends gels and usually always do fills. So I file down all the material and put on new after that. I don't cut them down and put on new tips every time. And for it to work, the tips need to be secured well. I don't know if I have a bad sense of smell or something, but I can't smell any scent on these bags.... Maybe it depends on which kind you buy, some might smell more (I bought vanilla)?? I would say this is perfect if you just want a simple and light toner. But if you're looking for a more hydrating bomb or something else that really does something, you shouldn't buy it. It also feels a bit wrong that it's called an essence (which is a hybrid between toner and serum) because it's sooooo watery. It doesn't worsen anything, but it doesn't do miracles either.
