Hey! I love the original, but back then I had dyed darker hair. Now I have very light highlights. I've heard that the original can give some yellow tones and this one doesn't, but I have very thick hair, so should the original be better? Do you have tips on what I should do?

You are absolutely right, Moroccanoil Original is best suited for thick hair like yours. But since you now have very light highlights, the original can sometimes give a slight yellow tone. Moroccanoil Light is developed specifically for blonde, highlighted, or fine hair and is therefore a safer choice color-wise, but it is somewhat lighter in consistency 🥰
My tip is to try the Light variant first, especially if you want to maintain the cool tone in your hair. However, if you feel that your hair needs more moisture and shine, you can complement it with a moisturizing leave-in.
