I wanted to try an eyelash serum even though I know I have very sensitive eyes. My lashes have become a bit pale and short with age. I read that many people tolerated this eyelash serum even if they had sensitive eyes and thought it might be something for me. Also cheaper than some other brands.
The first two weeks went well and I saw that the lashes darkened and the length also started to come on some strands. But I had some eye pain on and off. By the third week, I felt my eyes getting more and more tired. One morning I noticed grayish shadows around my eyelids, especially from the outer corner of the eye. I only saw it in profile with the help of a mirror. So I didn’t notice it from the front. My partner also thought I looked more tired than usual. So now I have stopped using it and probably won’t use serum around the eyes again. Now I just have to wait for it to heal and return to normal skin color again. I don’t know if I accidentally overdosed in some way, but I don’t think so. Anyway, I’m playing it safe rather than sorry.

If you experience discomfort, irritation, or changes around the eyes, it is wise to do exactly as you have done and pause use.

I noticed that my hair eventually felt lifeless. A way too strong product that also gave me eczema if I got it on my skin. Such a shame, because the scent is wonderful.
