Finally got to test Glöd Sophie Elise's lip liners, and they did not disappoint at all 👏🏻 I received them in PR. They are so creamy and easy to apply, and easy to blend before they dry down. And once they dry down - they sit like a dream 😍 And not to mention, super pretty colors! So I hope they launch more colors eventually 🥰 "Sophie" is my everyday favorite, while "XOXO" is my new party favorite. Very dry skin? This one is for you 💦
I have been so lucky to receive CeraVe's Hydrating Cleanser which #LYKOINFLUTESTER 💚 I am 35 years old, have normal to dry skin, which can be a bit sensitive at times - especially if products contain a lot of fragrance. I have some lines around my eyes, but otherwise nothing noticeable. The bottle is just okay, looks like all other CeraVe products. Doesn't look very exclusive or fancy. But I really like that it has a pump (until it starts to run out 🫨). The consistency of the cleanser is not like other cleansers I have. It's almost a bit milky and oily, and doesn't foam at all. It also doesn't smell like anything, as it is fragrance-free (big plus) 🥰 I always double cleanse my face in the evening. First with either micellar water or oil cleanser and then a regular cleanser. After cleansing with this, my skin doesn't feel stripped, which is nice. But.. it's almost like I feel that my skin isn't cleansed enough since it feels so moisturized after cleansing. Something that is probably fantastic for those with very dry skin! But for me, who only has dry skin at times and not very dry skin, this is probably a bit too moisturizing for me. I probably appreciate that my skin feels super clean and stripped before I start my skincare routine 😅 But I have put it in the shower, so my partner (who has quite dry skin) has been able to use this now, and he really likes it. It is very user-friendly for men + it doesn't look too feminine 😇 All in all, this is a great cleanser for those with sensitive and/or dry skin, but may feel a bit heavy for those with normal to combination skin. #CERAVE1 product in post Very dry skin? Hypoallergenic - but very perfumed
I have been so lucky to receive La Roche-Posay's Hyalu B5 Suractivated Cream as #LYKOINFLUTESTER 💙 I am 35 years old, have normal to dry skin, which can be a bit sensitive at times - especially if products contain a lot of perfume. I have some lines around my eyes, but otherwise nothing noticeable. I was very excited about this cream, as I am completely dependent on a good moisturizer year-round. I have only tested the products for a period of 2 weeks, so I can't say anything about noticeable results yet. But the cream promises to visibly reduce wrinkles and fine lines 👏🏻 But I can describe my experience with the product over these 2 weeks. I have used it together with Vichy's Minéral Daily Booster serum, which I tested in the same period, which is supposed to be a good combo. In the first days of my testing period, I used the cream, along with the serum mentioned above both morning and night. But I quickly found out that this was an overly greasy combination to use under makeup. The makeup pilled and sat like a layer on the skin. I quickly switched to only using it in my evening routine 😅 The jar looks fresh and delicate. I would definitely wish it was in either a tube or pump jar, as I think that is the most hygienic. It also didn't come with a spatula, so you have to stick your finger in it (so be completely clean with your fingers!) The consistency of the cream is velvety soft and a bit greasy - at the same time, it doesn't feel very greasy when you apply it. It is very economical in use, and you don't need much to cover the entire face and neck. It smells amazing, which is also a little red flag for me - as it contains perfume.. But it is supposedly hypoallergenic. Fortunately, I have not reacted to the cream in the two weeks I have tested it 🥹 My skin during this period has been very hydrated and calm, little dryness (other than what is normal when it is -20 outside..) And I really appreciate waking up with hydrated and plump skin every day, so I understand well that it says it should provide moisture for 72 hours 💦 I can't say that this is the best moisturizer I have tested, even though it is far from bad. But I probably prefer completely fragrance-free moisturizers. I have some lines around my eyes, but otherwise nothing noticeable. I was very excited about this serum, as I am completely dependent on a good moisturizing serum year-round. I have only tested the products for a period of 2 weeks, so I can't say anything about noticeable results yet. But I can describe my experience with the product over these 2 weeks. I really like that it has a pump, which makes it very hygienic to apply the serum. The consistency of the serum is like a thin gel, and it doesn't smell like anything special (fragrance-free - very good). I have used 2 pumps each time, which covers both face and neck. It says that the serum should absorb quickly into the skin, which I don't think it did, I feel like it sat like a layer on top of the skin.. Maybe that's why I prefer more fluid serums, because they absorb well into the skin 😇 But have I woken up with plump and hydrated skin these weeks? Oh yes! 💦 I notice that the product still sits on my skin in the morning, so I have to wash my face well so that my makeup doesn't pill. But all in all a very nice moisturizing serum that I will definitely use up. Highlighter of the Year, or?! 😍
I have been so lucky to receive NARS's Light Reflecting Luminizer in the shade “Electra” as #lykoinflutester. My name is Kristine, I am 35 years old and love everything related to beauty and makeup. Over many years, I have tested an incredible number of products from different brands. But I have still not tested a highlighter from NARS. So I was incredibly excited about this one. I am quite picky about highlighters and rarely find one that I like so much that I want to include it in my daily makeup routine 😅 The consistency of this highlighter is soft and almost a bit creamy. It is not powdery at all! Something I am very happy about, because then I know it will look natural when applied 👏🏻 The packaging is simple and cute, but I actually wish it came in black packaging like the rest of the NARS products (but maybe that’s just my OCD talking 😂). Super nice that there’s a mirror too! I apply this with a slightly large brush on the cheekbones, to avoid getting a stripe of highlighter à la 2016 makeup trend 😘 And, oh my god, how pretty this is!! It is not glittery at all (something I absolutely do not like in a highlighter), but it makes your skin look almost dewy, or like you have a naturally glowing skin 🥹 It really is a unique formula that gives a completely insane glass finish to the skin. I also apply it on the brow bone, the bridge of the nose, the inner corner of the eye, and the cupid's bow, in addition to the cheekbones - for an extra glowing base ✨ And I must say that I really love this highlighter so much. And that is not often I say about a… highlighter! 😳 It is so pretty that I can easily use this in my everyday routine as well, as you can build it up for an even more intense and glowing finish. But it also gives a perfectly natural, glass-like glow for everyday use. So all in all - if you are on the hunt for a highlighter this year - or for Christmas - THIS is the one 🙌🏼 It has been a long time since I have been so impressed with a highlighter. I have been so lucky to receive NARS's Multiple in Orgasm Crave as #lykoinflutester. My name is Kristine, I am 35 years old and love everything related to beauty and makeup. Over many years, I have tested an incredible number of products from different brands. I have tested NARS's blush sticks before - which I liked very much. But I haven't tested this new Multiple stick that is meant for both cheeks, eyes, and lips, so I was incredibly excited about this 😍 The consistency of this is incredibly fascinating. It is soft and creamy, but as soon as you get it on the skin, it becomes like a powder, which I love. I am not a fan of blush sticks that leave my cheeks sticky, which this absolutely does not do. I pick up the product with a slightly dense and soft makeup brush directly from the stick and apply it to my cheeks - for maximum control (and at the risk of ruining my base if I drag the stick over my cheeks) 😅 Something that worked perfectly! 🩷 The color “Orgasm Crave” is a lovely pink/peach color with pearls of gold. Absolutely a color I would have chosen myself in this stick, as this is a color that suits me well. The formula is super easy to build up to a slightly more intense blush color on the cheeks, and blends like a dream. And even though it dries down to a powder form, the pearl shimmer in the stick really brings out a lovely and natural glow ✨ For application on the eyes, I just use my finger - so simple! Blended just as well with my finger as with a brush. And it seriously took me 5 seconds to get it looking nice 👁️ On the lips, I applied it like a regular lipstick, and oh my god what a lovely color to have on the lips! It can feel a bit dry if you apply a lot, or several layers. But incredibly nice and pleasant if you just apply a little and top with a gloss 👄 I really love that you have so many options with this stick. The whole makeup turned out so well when both cheeks, eyes, and lips matched 🩷 And I can feel that this is going to be a product I will reach for a lot in the future. I have been so lucky to receive NARS' Soft Matte Complete Concealer as #lykoinflutester. My name is Kristine, I am 35 years old and I love everything related to beauty and makeup. Over many years, I have tested an incredible number of products from different brands. And guess how happy I was when I saw that I would be testing this concealer from NARS this month! It is indeed a concealer I have had in my collection for many years - BUT I have only had it in the lightest shade “Chantilly”. Something that has been a bit silly on the days I have self-tanner (which is quite often!) This is indeed the BEST “spot-concealer” that exists on the market in my eyes 🥹👏🏻 I always spot-conceal right after skincare and before foundation. I take a small amount of concealer on a small precise makeup brush and apply it to pimples and blemishes on my face that are not covered by all types of foundation. Then I blend it out with my finger for an even application. When I put on foundation, no redness or color shows through! ❤️ The consistency of this is on the thicker side and provides full coverage. Therefore, I think it is best suited for spot-concealing. But if you warm it up between your fingers, it becomes a bit thinner and easier to work with - so you can also apply it under the eyes. But not much, a thin layer - otherwise, there will be a lot of creasing. But I personally prefer to use the liquid concealer from NARS (Radiant Creamy Concealer) under the eyes ☺️ It sits nicely both under and on top of all types of foundations I have tested. In the video, I use the concealer together with NARS' Light Reflecting Foundation - which is a big favorite here. It does not feel thick or heavy on the skin. And I really love the result this concealer gives. I also really like that it contains ingredients like Vitamin A, C, and E and hyaluronic acid and peptides that nourish the skin, especially since I usually apply it on blemishes 💦 Really a concealer that everyone struggling with pigmentation, redness, and blemishes should have in their collection.
