Hi!
I have both diagnosed rosacea and perioral dermatitis. I have struggled for several years with different treatments and creams, but nothing has seemed to help so far. After a lot of googling and searching, I have now ordered the following:
• Beauty of Joseon Calming Serum Green Tea + Panthenol
• The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%
• The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
• Purito Hydro Wave Deep Sea Cream
• Bioderma Sensibio Foaming gel
• Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner
In what order should I use these products, which should I use in the morning/evening, and how often?
Grateful for a response! Best regards, a desperate girl!
Hey Jessica✨
I can understand that this feels frustrating as both of these skin conditions are sensitive🤍
For you who have perioral dermatitis, these tips are important to follow:
👉🏻Avoid perfumed skincare.
👉🏻Do not use any form of peeling/products with strong acids in them.
👉🏻Also avoid cortisone cream, heavy makeup, greasy creams, and products with oil.
👉🏻Do not touch or squeeze the bumps.
This is a very sensitive condition of the skin that can easily be triggered by new skincare, so we always recommend trying your new skincare on a small area for a few days before using it on the whole face🙏🏼
Of course, we should look at the order😊
1. Cleansing - Bioderma Sensibio Foaming gel
2. Toner - Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner
3. Serum - Beauty of Joseon Calming Serum Green Tea + Panthenol (morning and evening)
4. The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (a few days a week) should go well with the above serum
5. Day cream - Purito Hydro Wave Deep Sea Cream
6. Night cream - The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% (be careful with Niacinamide if your skin doesn't like this)
7. Sunscreen during the day
I hope my answer can be helpful and wish you good luck with your routine🎉
