I've had the chance to test the Therabody TheraFace Mask Glo for about eight weeks. LED light is a gentle treatment that works deep in the skin and can help stimulate collagen production, reduce inflammation, and even out skin tone. Different light colors have different properties – for example, red light focuses on anti-aging and recovery, while blue light can help with blemishes. It's not a quick fix, but with regular use, the skin can become clearer, calmer, and get a nice, natural glow. As a regular user of LED masks, I don't notice a dramatic difference compared to when I first started LED treatments. However, it's clear that my previous mask can't quite compare to this one – both in quality and feel. Overall, I experience more radiance in my skin, scars heal better, and the skin recovers more effectively. It might not be very visible on my somewhat dull winter skin 😜, but the feeling is definitely there – I feel fresher. I'm almost 38 years old and have some signs of aging as well as dry skin that becomes extra sensitive during winter. I also have psoriasis. Besides that, I have a few small but stubborn pigmentations on my face, and unfortunately, I don't see much change in those after the test period. At the same time, nothing else has really worked on them either, so I didn't expect much. One of the biggest advantages of the mask is how user-friendly it is. It only takes one button press to get started, and the mask handles the rest itself through a program with three different light settings. There is also a massage function with three levels, or the option to turn it off completely. Here, I wished for a bit more – the massage is only above the ears and not over the crown, which makes it feel more like vibrations in the head than a targeted massage. Another big plus is that the mask is completely wireless (except when charging), which makes it convenient to use while doing other things – even though the field of vision is somewhat limited 😅. Perfect for those of us who like to multitask and be time-efficient. The battery life is also impressive. I've charged it about once a week, which has been plenty despite daily use with both light and massage. In summary, I actually find it hard to find any major downsides, except that the massage function doesn't quite live up to expectations. For the product to get a perfect score, I would have liked a better massage and maybe a cooling function under the eyes like some other masks have. Now it gets 4.5/5 from me. I really recommend this product – but mainly to those who know they will be consistent and use it regularly over a long time. Luxury for Special Occasions
contains preservatives, so it is quite sensitive. I am a big fan of sheet masks and always have a bunch in the fridge. Most often, I use one when I come home after working a few night shifts and want to freshen up a bit. This was tested after I had worked three nights in a row, slept a few hours during the day, and was going out to party. So it’s the three night shifts in a row in January that make me look like a wreck, and it’s a perfect opportunity for a little hard testing? The first impression is that the mask is sturdy and not so flimsy. It is generously soaked with serum and is two-part, which I think makes masks sit better on my face. However, I wish it was a little "higher" on the forehead, because as you can see in the video, I have a couple of centimeters left there that are not covered by the mask. I also can’t pull it up higher because then it would end up in my eyes. Otherwise, the fit is good, and I don’t feel like it slides away on my face. I experience no irritation during use, and I feel that my skin feels more hydrated (and longer than when I only use my regular skincare). Pros and cons of the product: Sturdy 2-part mask with a premium feel Generous amount of serum! Uplifting favorite!
I, who have tested for 37 years and have dry skin, which needs a little extra love especially during the colder months. I also have psoriasis (though not on my face) and allergies to some preservatives, so I am quite sensitive. I work nights and have small children, so I always suffer a bit from sleep deprivation. I am "naturally" a bit dark under the eyes, and that combination makes me always feel like I look a bit tired. That’s why I always have a jar of eye patches (and a bunch of sheet masks) in the fridge! These have thus had to work hard during the testing period, and I have used them as a little uplifting pick-me-up several times a week. The amount of serum is very generous, which is lovely, but it makes it a bit difficult to take the patches out of the jar and they tend to slide down a bit on the face. However, that might also be because I have a hard time just sitting still and masking 😅 The effect on me is more hydrated and a little less puffy skin under the eyes. However, there is no longer-lasting effect, but more of a quick fix when I am a bit extra tired and dull. To really give these eye patches a challenge, I used them after sleeping 5 hours after a night shift, before I was going out to dinner with colleagues. I can honestly say that I expected more from such an expensive product, especially since it comes from Verso, which usually delivers results. It promises, among other things, a visibly tightening effect and youthful radiance, and I don't know if I see any greater difference in that. However, I do think that the skin under my eyes feels more hydrated and somewhat plumper for at least a few hours. I especially like the fit of these, which are perfect for the shape of my eyes, and they stay well in place even when I am hanging laundry while wearing them 😂 I would have liked if the product was available in a larger package, like a classic jar with 15-30 pairs in it (like Verso's other eye patches) to be able to use them regularly and see if it would provide greater and more long-term results. This especially considering that both retinoids and peptides take time to show effect. However, the packaging with only one pair makes it easier to take them out compared to trying to fish patches out of a jar without getting several at once. Lumene Nordic-C – Feel Good Glow Gift Set
I have had the opportunity to test this lovely kit from Lumene over the past few weeks, which includes both the Nordic-C Glow Boost Serum and the Nordic-C Day Cream. I, who have tested, am 37 years old, with dry and sensitive skin that may need a little extra love, especially during the winter months. I also have psoriasis (though not on my face) and react easily to certain preservatives, so I am quite cautious when trying new products. 🍊 Glow Boost Serum: + Light and smooth to apply – the serum sinks in quickly without leaving any sticky residue. + Gives a nice, fresh glow that immediately makes the skin look a bit more awake. – The scent is a bit strong for my taste and lingers for a while. : A light, refreshing product that does the job if you want radiance. I found that my skin felt soft and even right after application. 🍊 Day Cream – Glow Reveal Day Cream: + Creamy and lovely consistency that feels soft even in the jar. + Easy to massage in and works well on top of other steps in the routine. + Provides a nice glow, good under makeup or for a natural glow day. – For me, it wasn't moisturizing enough, even though I use several hydrating steps. – Here too, I find the scent a bit too strong. A cozy cream that gives radiance, but didn't quite meet my dry skin's need for deep hydration. ⚠️ Skin Reaction Unfortunately, my skin reacted to some of the products – or maybe the combination. After a few days of use, I got small bumps on my forehead and over my nose. As a sensitive person, it is always difficult to determine exactly what triggers the reaction, but I chose to pause the use. 🎁 Overall Impression This is a super nice kit, but for me personally, it doesn't work fully, mainly due to the scent and the skin reaction I had. Therefore, I wouldn't buy the set for myself, but I could absolutely give it as a Christmas gift or present.
