Age: 53 Skin: combination, super sensitive and slightly ‘congested’. Thought this one was good but it separates and doesn’t absorb seamlessly into the skin. I have tried countless BB/tinted moisturizers, from Armani to L’Oréal to Dior etc. to find a copy of Nyx ‘bear with me tinted veil’ in vanilla nude. Luckily I still have 2 tubes left but I have finally found a close copy – even in color! “Skin Realist by Nabla, in shade 1 Fair.” Hopefully Lyko will have it in stock soon! Great at smoothing !
Hair type : curly and voluminous and dyed. I blow dry it straight every day . This is fab as one of the finishing styling products I use after straightening hair to smooth and ’deflate ’ without making hair greasy ( but I can imagine it can get greasy if too much is used) - a pea- sized amount is enough. Incorrect description of hair type
Lyko’s description is = "Specially designed for fine to medium-thick hair .." But in the Oribe advert itself it states in English: "Medium-to-coarse hair" which in English is: = "Medium to coarse hair" That’s a big difference in hair type .. Not a 'pure' pistachio
There’s an odd strong undertone that was too strong.. And my partner didn’t like it.. But! Pretty incredible for dry, dehydrated skin
This doesn’t sink in quickly – do you love that slugging feeling without or in addition to Vaseline? This is for you. The best night cream I’ve ever tried. It takes 2+ hours to start sinking in – wonderful!! Then it gradually still feels the most. Me: 53 combination T-zone / uber dry ‘U skin’ and if you want that slugging feeling (long-lasting moisture) without Vaseline – this is fab! Even if I slug with Vaseline I’m bone dry the next morning, but please don’t misunderstand me – I LOVE Vaseline – the best most inert occlusive ever invented. So I apply this first (I always avoid the T-zone (mainly the nose)) and then dot with Vaseline/Aquaphor/Locobase/Cerave ointment – no clogging at all! On my 4th tube. Absolutely wonderful. The description says it contains avocado oil but I can’t see it in your ingredients’ list ?
