They detangle the hair incredibly well and leave it super easy to comb right in the shower. Scent: I tried the coconut and vanilla scent, and honestly, it's not really a favorite of mine (a bit too sweet for my taste). But what's great is that they have a huge range of other scents, so it's easy to find one that suits you better if you want something else. Right from the first glance, I fell head over heels for the luxurious and appealing packaging! It really feels exclusive to have it displayed on the bathroom shelf! When you then unscrew the jar and feel the cream, you are met with a truly lovely texture that makes you want to start applying it immediately. I have high standards for my products, and my skin thrives on plenty of moisture, but since everyday life is often busy, I appreciate products that don’t take forever to absorb. The experience of applying this cream is fantastic. It is incredibly moisturizing and gives an immediate feeling of deep hydration, but the best part is that it still absorbs so quickly into the skin without leaving any sticky residue. It leaves the skin velvety smooth and also works perfectly under both sunscreen and makeup. I am pleasantly surprised at how easy this product is to use! It is very simple to work with and it feels nice to avoid unnecessary ingredients. There are two things worth keeping in mind: The tone: It leaned significantly more towards the red side than I initially thought, so it might be worth checking if you prefer a more neutral or deeply cool brown shade. The feel: The hair can feel a bit rough afterwards if you skip the conditioner step, so a softening conditioner afterwards is a must to get that smooth feeling. The overall impression is "just okay" since the color didn’t really set despite over 10 minutes in the hair, which might have been because I used conditioner afterwards. I have tested Maybelline New York Fit Me Loose Setting Powder in the shade 1 Translucent and am really super happy with the result. Many powder products can sometimes feel quite tight or dry out the skin, but this loose powder works great and feels pleasantly light on the skin all day. It sets makeup perfectly, makes the skin nicely matte in a natural way without looking cakey, and best of all it stays matte all day without having to worry about shiny areas or touch-ups all the time. The savior for blue tones under the eyes – works best with concealer on top!
I have tested Maybelline New York Instant Anti Age Eraser Color Correcting Concealer in the shade 05 Pink. Since I have very thin skin under my eyes, the blue and green tones show through a lot, but this color correction does a really good job of neutralizing the dark tones. The formula can feel a bit dry on the skin if you're not careful, but it covers the blue surprisingly well. For me, it works best as a base where I apply a regular concealer on top, and then the result is absolutely amazing. It perfectly neutralizes the shadows and gives a more awake impression. A clear favorite in the makeup bag for tired days!
