Keeps skin matte all day without feeling dry!
I have tested Maybelline New York Fit Me Loose Setting Powder in the shade 1 Translucent and am really super happy with the result. Many powder products can sometimes feel quite tight or dry out the skin, but this loose powder works great and feels pleasantly light on the skin all day. It sets makeup perfectly, makes the skin nicely matte in a natural way without looking cakey, and best of all it stays matte all day without having to worry about shiny areas or touch-ups all the time. It is an incredibly reliable and affordable powder that I warmly recommend to anyone who wants a nice, shine-free finish that actually holds up in all situations. The savior for blue tones under the eyes – works best with concealer on top!
I have tested Maybelline New York Instant Anti Age Eraser Color Correcting Concealer in the shade 05 Pink. Since I have very thin skin under my eyes, the blue and green tones show through a lot, but this color correction does a really good job of neutralizing the dark tones. The formula can feel a bit dry on the skin if you're not careful, but it covers the blue surprisingly well. For me, it works best as a base where I apply a regular concealer on top, and then the result is absolutely amazing. It perfectly neutralizes the shadows and gives a more awake impression. A clear favorite in the makeup bag for tired days! Nice shine and smart packaging, but let down by the aftertaste
I have tested the Maybelline New York Lifter Gel Oil-In-Gel Twist Pen in the shade 06 Strawberry Shake. It gives a really nice and glossy shine to the lips, and I really like the smart packaging with the twist function that makes it easy to use. However, there are a few things that bring down the overall rating. First of all, I really don’t like the aftertaste that lingers on the tongue when you have it on your lips. The formula is also an oil-in-gel, which means it doesn’t feel non-sticky at all but rather quite tacky. The wear time is okay for a gloss, but because of the unpleasant aftertaste and stickiness, it unfortunately only gets an average rating from me. Easy to wash off, but gives a bit too much product
I have been using Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara for a while now and have mixed feelings. There are definitely positive qualities that make you like it; it gives a nice and intense black result, it curls the lashes nicely, and above all, it is very easy to remove in the evening with just water, which is a big plus for me who sometimes wants a smooth evening routine! However, I find that it picks up a bit too much formula from the tube. The brush takes up too much product at once, which can make it feel quite clumpy during application. The picture shows the result after only two strokes, and it can easily look a bit spider-leggy if you’re not careful. If you like a very dramatic and full look, it can definitely work well, but for my personal taste, it became a bit too much and difficult to work with because of all the excess product on the brush. Really good moisture bomb that smells magical!
Of the products in the Scalp Balance series, this is my absolute favorite. The serum absorbs quickly and makes my scalp feel incredibly softer and more balanced. Unlike the spray, I also think the scent of this one is just perfect; it smells really nice without being too much. Great scalp sunscreen, but strongly scented
I really like the idea behind this product! Having SPF in a scalp spray is a genius move to avoid burning your parting. It does its job and feels fresh. What lowers the rating a bit is that it smells quite strong. The scent itself is nice, but it takes over a bit too much.
