This one or argireline + matrixyl?

I've seen that many combine Ordinary's argireline and matrixyl serums. What is the difference if I choose this multi-peptide instead of the combination?

Hi Christine 😊 The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10% and The Ordinary Matrixyl 10% HA are two separate serums where each product works more specifically. Argireline is primarily targeted at expression lines, such as lines on the forehead and around the eyes, by softening how much the muscles affect the skin. Matrixyl is more focused on the skin’s structure, meaning firmness, fine lines, and supporting the skin’s collagen over time. The Ordinary Multi-Peptide HA Serum contains both these types of peptides in one serum, along with more peptide complexes and hyaluronic acid. Have a nice day! 🌼

    Antioxidant serum for mature skin

I wonder which antioxidant serum or vitamin C serum is best for mature skin with fine lines? Is it better to choose an antioxidant serum or a vitamin C serum? Considering this one or Theramid Lino 8 or Theramid CEF. How do I do if I want to use peptides in the same routine? Can you apply vitamin C and then wait a while before applying the peptides afterwards?

Hi Christine 😊 If the goal is mature skin with fine lines and glow, I would say that both antioxidant serum and vitamin C serum are good, but they work a bit differently. Vitamin C is usually best if you want to focus more on radiance, pigmentation, and collagen stimulation, while an antioxidant serum provides broader protection against oxidative stress and often works very well to prevent signs of aging in the long term. For mature skin, the combination of both is actually the most optimal. Personally, I would choose Theramid CEF if you want the most visible anti-aging effect and glow, especially on mature skin. Theramid Lino-8 is more of a “skin quality serum” that strengthens the skin over time and is especially suitable if the skin is more sensitive or a bit thinner. When it comes to peptides, it generally works very well to combine them with both antioxidant serum and vitamin C. The old advice that you can’t use peptides together with vitamin C mainly applies to pure, very acidic L-ascorbic acids. Modern formulations usually work fine together. Theramid CEF is also formulated to be used in routines with other active products. Otherwise, I would recommend using them in different routines and experimenting to see what works best for you. Have a great day! 🌼

    How do you apply it?

How do you apply the product? What is meant by the eye contour?

Hello Christine! 😊 The eye contour is the skin around the eye – under the eye along the eye socket bone, towards the temple, and up under the brow bone (avoid the lash line and mucous membrane). Take a small dab (pea to rice grain size), gently pat it onto clean, dry skin with your ring finger along the bone edge under the eye, in the crow’s feet area, and under the brow bone until absorbed, apply before face cream/sunscreen ☀️ The product can increase sun sensitivity and contains retinol, so start every other evening and increase to daily use if your skin tolerates it, and use SPF during the day. All the best! 💛
