Nice and natural, but uneven pigmentation

I had the chance to be one of Lyko’s test pilots for Estelle & Thild Organic Beauty “Gilded Gaze Eyeshadow Palette.” Just like all the products I’ve tested from Estelle & Thild, the ingredient list is the big plus. You can tell they’ve put a lot of focus on creating gentle products both for the skin and for the planet. I like to think of makeup a bit like skincare – after all, it’s something we have on our face for large parts of the day. That’s why it feels extra safe to use a product with this kind of ingredient list. 👏 My first impression was nice colors. I rarely use eyeshadow, usually it’s just bronzer on the eyes – so I was immediately a bit extra happy about the brown shade, which felt like my favorite. However, it is somewhat less pigmented than the other shadows in the palette. On the other hand, I actually think the palette could be good for someone who is a beginner with eyeshadows, since it’s easier to build up an eyeshadow than to remove one that is super pigmented. The shadows have a nice powdery texture in my opinion! I also tested the brown shade as a contour on my nose, which worked well! I appreciate when a product can be used for multiple things. 🌟 Personally, I would have wished for a bit warmer tones in the palette, but of course that’s a matter of taste. Therefore, it’s especially good for you who like cooler, less warm eyeshadows. I’ve only tested the palette at home, but I think the wear throughout the day feels completely normal. Overall, I think it’s a totally okay eyeshadow palette – what I value the most is that it’s significantly more natural than many other eyeshadows on the market. 🌱🌿

A perfect bronzer for those who love glow

I had the chance to be one of Lyko’s test pilots for Estelle & Thild Organic Beauty “Sunset Sheen Melange Bronzer Terra.” Just like all the products I’ve tested from Estelle & Thild, the ingredient list is the big plus. You can tell they’ve put a lot of focus on creating gentle products both for the skin and for the planet. I want makeup to be a bit like skincare – after all, it’s something we have on our face for large parts of the day. That’s why it feels extra safe to use a product with this kind of ingredient list. 🌱 My first impression was that it didn’t give much color, mostly glow – the same thing I’ve seen several others write in the comments. But the second time I tested the bronzer, I used a more compact brush and actually got a completely different result: a nice, natural brown bronzer with a really beautiful glow. If you think it gives too little color, it works really well with a cream bronzer underneath and this one on top. I tried that and thought it gave such a nice result. In the pictures, however, I’ve only used this bronzer to give a fair representation of the product and show that it works really well on its own too. An extra tip 😉 – I also think it’s super pretty as a natural eyeshadow! 🤎

    Nice natural mascara

I had the chance to be one of Lyko’s test pilots for Estelle & Thild Organic Beauty “Vivid View Volume Mascara Brown.” What I like about Estelle & Thild is the high percentage of organic and natural ingredients, which makes the mascara gentler than many other mascaras on the market. I think the mascara is a nice natural brown color. I would say it’s a fairly dark brown, which still creates contrast if you have light eyelashes like me. One downside for me is that the mascara takes a long time to dry, and I don’t have that much patience. 😅 Several times while it was drying, I got mascara on my eyelid/brow bone. At the same time, it’s a volume mascara, and since it doesn’t dry immediately, it’s very buildable, both in length and volume. So it’s simply a matter of taste, even though I prefer a mascara that dries quickly. The wear throughout the day was so-so for me, but honestly, that applies to most mascaras I’ve tested. I generally have trouble with non-waterproof mascaras, so take that with a grain of salt. 🫣 It’s also not marketed as waterproof, so I don’t deduct points for that.
