I have previously used the ordinary, granactive retinoid 5% in squalane. It seems to be hard to get now. Is this a good alternative? I would prefer not to have anything weaker than that since I have been using it for quite a while now, rather the opposite.

Hey Ami😊
Yes, it is a good and not weaker alternative.
COSRX Retinol 0.5 Oil contains 0.5% pure retinol, which is generally perceived as stronger than Granactive Retinoid 5% since it is pure retinol and not a derivative.
Since you are used to vitamin A, this could be a good step, but keep in mind that pure retinol can be more active/irritating. Gradually introduce it 1-2 evenings a week, patch test first, and always use SPF during the day.
Hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a super nice day💫
