A new brush may lose a few loose hairs during the first uses, but it should not continue to shed significantly.
We recommend washing the brush gently in lukewarm water with a mild brush cleaner or a mild shampoo. Rinse well, gently squeeze out excess water, shape the bristles, and let the brush dry lying down with the bristles hanging off the edge of a counter. You can also gently stroke the brush against a paper towel to remove any loose hairs.
