Catrice

I bought this because it was recommended on TikTok. Fits really well under the eyes! The packaging is also good and the product is easy to take.

I am absolutely no beginner with the brand Catrice, but I had never tried their mascara before until I got a travel size in their advent calendar. It was great – but unfortunately sold out in full size, so I got this one instead. I probably have quite long lashes, which go through phases when they behave the way I want. But every now and then I enter a phase when they are unmanageable without a breakdown. In the pictures, it’s the first time I tested this mascara, and it was only used on one eye (very clear which one 😅) The brush is somewhat smaller than I usually prefer, but it’s no problem to use it. It separates well and is very easy to build up if, like me, you like “more is more” 😎, but it works just as well if you want a more natural look. It washes off easily with water and facial cleanser. What lowers the rating a bit is that it crumbles a little during the day and that the eyes can water a bit if it’s very windy outside, something I don’t experience with my all-time favorite – Sweed. However, it hasn’t been put to the test in, for example, snowstorms or heavy rain, but I suspect it might not be perfect under those conditions. Catrice is also cruelty free – which is highly valued by me, and also an outrageously affordable brand! 🥰 #lykoreview
