Yes, but of course!
My hair is big, partly curly, and unruly. 🙈 So when I feel like straightening it, heat protection is a given. This heat protection from Björn Axén is a really nice heat protectant! The bottle and its design are pretty and appealing. The heat protectant distributes evenly in the hair, and the spray has a wide spread. I find my hair shinier & smoother after using the heat protectant. I’ve had many different brands of heat protectants before and have had the chance to test several. I can’t really say I’ve had many bad ones. Maybe just a few. So most of them have been really good. I can’t say that this heat protectant from Björn Axén beats the previous ones I’ve had with horse lengths. They are about equally good. And that means very good. 😊 So therefore, I give this a strong four in rating. I think the price is “a little bit” expensive. But if you make sure to buy when there’s a discount, this is a really good purchase. Film left on the hair
I had the opportunity to test this heat protectant from Björn Axén as a Lykoinflutester – and here are my thoughts after using it: My hair * Long * Wavy * Damaged * Dry Positive + Protects up to 220 degrees – perfect for flat or curling irons + Contains UV protection, which is a big plus on sunny days + Smells good without being too strong + Nice, simple bottle that feels practical and easy to use Negative – Leaves a strange film on the hair that doesn’t feel pleasant – The hair can feel a bit rough afterwards, which is not something I appreciate ⭐⭐☆☆☆ 2 out of 5 This heat protectant has several promising qualities – but the film that settles on the hair unfortunately drags down the overall impression significantly. Smells too strong
Bought this along with a leave-in, tried both yesterday and the leave-in smells really good and not too strong but this one smells super strong! I thought the scent would settle when I blow-dried and straightened my hair, but it didn't at all! Such a shame because my hair turned out nice but it's just way too strong of a scent for me! Dream Coat throw yourself against the wall
I don't even know if I dare to say this, but could it be that this one does the job just as well as the very hyped dream coat? 🫣 My hair usually gets frizzy as soon as I step outside the door like this for years, to the point that not even dream coat usually helps. But this one leaves my hair shiny and nice all day! I am very impressed! I love that it's a Swedish brand, that holds up to 220 degrees and that it, besides heat protection and UV protection, is also enriched with caring ingredients! There seem to be mixed opinions about the scent, and I agree that it smells a lot, but for me it disappears as soon as I style my hair. It leans a bit towards the masculine side in scent, but not so much that I would say it smells like men's perfume. I think it smells good! Smells heavenly!
Isn't it a heat protectant? I don't know enough about the differences, but this one smells insanely good. It's rare for me to find products that I just want to spray around me because they smell so good. Otherwise, the bottle might be a bit unwieldy and sprays a bit poorly. I only realized after I started using Björn Axén Heat Styling Protection how little heat protection I had actually used before. This is the first product that can actually be applied generously without the hair getting that heavy, stiff, or sticky feeling that so many heat protectants leave behind. It's as if the hair just drinks it up without changing its own texture. I use it generously and make sure every hair strand is covered – the entire lengths, the underhair, the tips, everything. It calms me to know that the heat is actually meeting a proper protection, not just a thin mist. What surprised me the most is that the hair feels completely clean afterwards. No film, no product feel, nothing that affects how the hair falls or moves. Another bonus is how much faster the hair dries. It's as if the product speeds up the process without stressing the hair. With a heat brush, blow dryer, or any other styling, the whole routine feels more efficient, and the result is both supple and fresh. In short: this is the first heat protection product that I fully trust. I have tested this spray that #lykoinflutester 💓 This heat protection spray has become one of my favorites! I use it on damp hair, and I have never experienced my hair getting sticky or any more frizzy than usual when styling afterwards! The only negative thing I have to say is that the spray is 50/50 on whether it’s very hard or perfect. Sometimes when I’ve used it, it’s a nice and good mist that distributes the product well, while other times it’s a very hard spray. Otherwise, I think the scent is strong but fresh.
