    There’s nothing better!

    I have been a fan of the original sunscreen from the same brand, so I was very excited about this one too when I ordered it. I have sensitive combination skin that tends to react to new products, but I didn’t react to this sunscreen at all⭐ It feels light on the skin, absorbs quickly, and gives a neutral (more matte than glowy) finish on the skin. No whitecast and sits beautifully under makeup! This is the best sunscreen I have tested so far, and I will probably use it regularly from now on 🥰 #lykoreview

    Don't like the finish

    Unpopular opinion, but I hate the finish of this sunscreen. It's horrible under makeup. Any foundation/corrector I tried is patchy and uneaven on top of it and starts pilling right away. I absolutely love the original Beauty of Joseon sunscreen, so I was quite disappointed with this one. It's fine as long as I don't wear anything else on that day, but even then, I just don't love the texture of my skin after applying this.

    Peeling/rolling off

    Peels off extremely, no matter what I try to prevent it. No matter how clean, exfoliated, and dry my skin is before application, and no matter how it is applied to the skin. Really sucks, because it seems to work amazingly for most.

    So far the best

    I always get super shiny and sticky from SPF since I have oily/combination skin, but this one is quite matte. Doesn't feel like a classic SPF cream at all and is so far the best I've tested (interested in trying Common Clouds too).

    A good alternative

    I use their "regular" sunscreen with probiotics daily and think it’s AMAZING. When it was sold out, I tried this one and I think it does a good job too. They don’t have the same active ingredients and therefore not the same properties, so you can’t compare. I think it does its job and is good - but no wow factor like its "sister product". No white cast, sinks in well, gives a nice glow (but not as good as the other one in my opinion, could also be in my head). All in all, a good sunscreen.

    Not as I hoped

    It peels off the face without me doing anything. I applied it over a moisturizer that was completely absorbed and rubbed it in well. I had no makeup on top, but after an hour it peeled off when I touched my face. I had high hopes for this as I love the original.

    extreme "pilling"

    I wanted to like this, but it really doesn't want to stay on me. I've tried different cleansers, removed different parts of my routine to see if anything changes, waited between products, went straight in with the next product, everything I can think of. It looks like I've used an eraser on my face, all the product just rolls off / flakes. I use their other sunscreen and like it somewhat, but I had heard that this one was supposed to be a bit less greasy. And sure, it is, but that doesn't help when it doesn't stay on the face. I will keep testing, but this really wasn't something that worked for me unfortunately.
