The beeswax creates a protective barrier that breathes and blocks out moisture such as urine that can irritate sensitive baby skin. The balm smells sweet of honey and beeswax. The balm consists of low concentrations of the essential oils lavender and tea tree as these are anti-inflammatory, have antiseptic and antibacterial properties.
